Biblical truth for a compromised age… Writing for believers who want Christ — not comfort. No soft Gospel here!✝️ Time is running out!!! @ChelseaFC @ChelseaFCW
Yes, marriage is not compulsory. If someone chooses not to marry or have children, I respect that decision entirely.
However, I would hope they are willing to embrace the full implications of that choice. If one chooses singleness, then consistency requires honouring the boundaries that come with it rather than seeking to enjoy the privileges and intimacies that God designed to exist within the covenant of marriage.
In other words, it is not enough to reject the institution while embracing its benefits. Conviction should be followed through consistently.
From a biblical perspective, sex was never intended to be a casual activity detached from covenant commitment. It was designed by God to be enjoyed within the context of marriage, where love, sacrifice, responsibility, and lifelong commitment accompany intimacy.
Whatever path a person chooses—marriage or singleness—the call is the same: to live with integrity, self-control, and faithfulness to one's convictions.
I think marriage is one of God’s greatest illustrations of the kind of relationship He desires with His people.
From the very beginning, marriage was never merely about companionship. It was designed to reflect covenant, love, faithfulness, intimacy, sacrifice, and union. These are the very themes that run throughout God’s relationship with humanity.
In the Old Testament, God often describes Israel as His bride and condemns idolatry as spiritual adultery. In the New Testament, Christ is the Bridegroom and the Church is His bride. The Bible even ends with a wedding—the marriage supper of the Lamb.
What’s fascinating is that Scripture presents marriage not as a picture of God based on human relationships, but human marriage as a picture of a greater heavenly reality. Ephesians 5 says that marriage ultimately points to Christ and the Church.
I believe this is why Satan attacks marriage so fiercely. Marriage is one of the clearest earthly reflections of the Gospel. A faithful husband reflects Christ’s sacrificial love. A faithful wife reflects the Church’s loving devotion to Christ.
So when God uses the imagery of bride and bridegroom, He is communicating something deeply personal: salvation is not merely a legal transaction or a religious system. It is a covenant relationship.
God is not simply seeking servants; He is gathering a people who will belong to Him in love, faithfulness, and eternal union.
The story of Scripture beginning with a marriage in Eden and culminating in a marriage in glory is no coincidence.
LET US PRAY
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Yeshua, we come before You this morning with hearts full of gratitude, reverence, and worship.
Father, we thank You because You are faithful in all Your ways. Thank You for another day of life. Thank You for the breath in our lungs, the strength to rise, and the countless mercies that surround us each morning. Thank You for Your patience toward humanity, for Your kindness that continually calls us to repentance, and for Your unwavering faithfulness that remains steadfast through every generation.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Thank You for the cross, where Your love was displayed in its fullness. Thank You for the privilege of knowing You and being called Your children. Thank You for every promise You have spoken and for the certainty that not one of them will fail.
Father, this morning our hearts are fixed on this word—Trust.
Lord, as we reflect upon Your goodness, we are humbled by the reality that even before we placed our trust in You, You had already extended mercy toward us. Every day that You sustained us, every breath You freely gave us, every opportunity You granted us to turn toward You, revealed Your enduring love and patience.
Father, You never ceased pursuing humanity. Though we wandered, You remained faithful. Though we doubted, You remained true. Though we often trusted in ourselves more than in You, Your mercy continued to sustain us.
Lord, help us to trust You as You deserve to be trusted.
Teach us to trust You when circumstances are favourable and when they are difficult.
Teach us to trust You when prayers are answered quickly and when waiting is required.
Teach us to trust You when we understand what You are doing and when Your ways seem hidden from us.
Father, remove fear, anxiety, doubt, and unbelief from our hearts. Wherever trust has been weakened by disappointment, pain, confusion, or delay, restore it by the power of Your Spirit.
Lord, help us to place our confidence not in our abilities, our resources, our plans, or the systems of this world, but in You alone. Remind us daily that You are trustworthy, wise, and good beyond our understanding.
Father, give us hearts that reflect the confidence of those who know that their lives are safely held in Your hands. Let trust become the foundation upon which we walk, serve, pray, and obey.
Lord, we pray for Your Church. Edify and strengthen the Body of Christ in this hour. Raise believers who trust Your Word above popular opinion, who trust Your promises above worldly fears, and who trust Your will above their own desires.
Father, let the Church become a testimony of unwavering faith in a generation marked by uncertainty and instability. Let our confidence in You inspire others to seek You.
Lord, pour out Your Spirit upon the lost. Many have placed their trust in things that cannot save—wealth, status, pleasure, power, and human wisdom. Open their eyes to the emptiness of these things and draw them to the One who is worthy of complete trust.
Let many come to know Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord, and King.
Father, we pray for healing. Heal those whose hearts have been wounded by betrayal, loss, disappointment, and fear. Let Your presence restore confidence and peace where trust has been damaged.
We pray for provision. Supply every genuine need among Your people. Give wisdom to those seeking direction, strength to those facing challenges, and resources to those carrying out Your work. Let Your faithfulness become evident in every area of their lives.
And above all, Father, help us to trust You more deeply each day. As You have faithfully sustained us from the beginning, teach us to rest confidently in Your goodness, Your wisdom, and Your perfect will.
May our lives declare that You are worthy of complete trust.
In the mighty, majestic, and matchless name of our Lord and soon-coming King, Yeshua, we pray.
Amen. 🙏🏽
Yesterday was beautiful. Thank you to everyone who took a moment to celebrate, pray for, and encourage me. I appreciate every message more than words can express.
God bless you all. 🫶🏼🥰
It may not seem like a big deal to some, even among the many gifts Christ has graciously given us as believers, but I will never stop thanking Him for the salvation of my soul.
For me, salvation is not merely one gift among many—it is the foundation upon which every other blessing rests. It is the root of the beautiful new life I now live, the reason I have hope, purpose, peace, and the assurance of eternity with Him.
Had Christ given me nothing else but salvation, He would have already given me more than I deserve.
And for that, I will spend the rest of my life thanking Him. 🙏🏽
