I've been a runner my whole life, and now I'm running for re-election to represent you in Richmond! I will continue to work across the aisle, protect a women's right to reproductive healthcare, and lower costs for all Virginians.
Happy World Bicycle Day!
Whether you prefer smooth trails or adventurous BMX tracks, enjoy the ride and stay safe. Wear a helmet — and sunscreen — with visible clothing, and obey traffic laws. Get rolling!
As we celebrate Pride Month, it's important to remember that rights are strongest when they're protected in law.
This November, Virginians can vote yes to codify same-sex marriage in our Constitution. The freedom to marry the person you love should never be up for debate.
As Pride Month begins today, we honor the contributions, resilience, and diversity of LGBTQ+ Virginians across the Commonwealth. We remain committed to building a Virginia in which every person can live authentically, safely, and free from discrimination.
As May comes to a close, I wanted to highlight that this month is Maternal Mental Health Month.
Virginia’s health agencies launched “Beyond the Blues,” a new initiative focused on supporting women experiencing postpartum depression and other maternal mental health challenges.
Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.
For seventy years, on this hillside overlooking the James River, Virginians have gathered on Memorial Day to remember our neighbors who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Every single year, we have come back here, together, to say in one unified voice: we have not forgotten you.
Why a Democratic trifecta matters:
Paid sick leave — now law.
Paid family medical leave — now law.
$15 minimum wage — now law.
Democrats govern: workers finally get a fair shot.

What an honor and privilege to have Governor Abigail Spanberger sign my bills, HB523 and HB656, into law last week. I was proud to be joined by the stakeholders, agencies, and community members whose collaboration and hard work made these bills possible and such a success!
Earlier this week I joined @DelRodWillett and @destinyforva to give a legislative update to the Henrico Bar Association at The Answer, a great local business!
We had a wide ranging convo about session and the last year in Virginia governance!
It was great to stop by Clark Springs School today, where the VSP Vision “Eyes for Hope” mobile clinic was on “sight” to provide Richmond students with eye exams and, when needed, a pair of glasses.
Virginia is leading the way, y’all! We did that.
We’re now the FIRST state in the South to guarantee paid family and medical leave for workers — proving Virginia can lead the nation by putting working families first.

Virginia’s kids are better off because Kathy Glazer led the @VECF_Ready! She’s been a fierce advocate for affordable and quality childcare and today we rightfully celebrated her retirement!
Glad to join so many education advocates to celebrate Kathy and to recommit to the cause!

I’m disappointed in the Court’s decision, but I remain optimistic that Virginia voters will persevere and elect several new Democrats to Congress this November.
ICYMI, big parity win in VA! For 2 yrs, LAC worked w/ a coalition of VA behavioral health providers to pass legislation strengthening network adequacy & other parity protections for Virginians. TY @CreighDeeds & @DelRodWillett for sponsoring SB524/HB656! https://t.co/ULqSNkS63d
