Expect slippery conditions tomorrow morning, as we are preparing for a wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain, and dropping temperatures. All Boston Public School buildings will be closed Friday, February 4.
As PWD crews and contractors normally pre-treat our streets before any inclement weather, due to the amount of rain we’re experiencing prior to the freezing rain and #snow, it makes those efforts ineffective. As such, we’ll have 500 spreaders treating our roadways as temps drop.
