Speaker of the House @RonMariano updating the @bostonchamber on the implications for Massachusetts of cuts and policy decisions from the current federal Administration. Making powerful case for government as a potent tool for addressing affordability challenges in MA.
It is inhumane that Trump is once again throwing out necessary protections for nearly half a million Haitians in the US. TPS is a critical program for helping people, including more than 4,700 Haitian TPS holders in Massachusetts, escape violence and probable death. We should not be tearing communities apart.
There are not many Black lobbyists on Beacon Hill. Among those of us whose profession is to communicate the interests and needs of businesses, organizations and communities, Black faces are few and far between.

Attacks on public schools undermine the very foundation of the #americandream where children have real opportunities for social and economic mobility. Kudos to @SenMarkey for taking a stand at the location where so many battles for liberty began.
Proud to stand with @SenMarkey at the @MAAHMuseum to fight for #education and protecting our most vulnerable kids.

This is a striking clip. I can't think of a more broadly popular issue in the last couple decades of #mapoli, and the Beacon Hill establishment is treating it as an existential threat.
I want to be clear: gender affirming care remains available in Massachusetts for all who need it. My office and I will continue to enforce our state laws to ensure families can access it without fear of discrimination.
@VoteWorrell As a homeowner and small business operator, I appreciate your standing up for us. All the stakeholders in the city need to share the burden in these times. 🙏🏽👍🏽🙏🏽
I’ve spent the past week fielding calls and concerns from homeowners worried about their tax bill. It’s unfortunate that we had a councilor vote against property tax relief that would’ve helped his own constituents, including seniors, veterans, and union workers. 1/3

This is far from reality, Ed. The only councilor I hear say “defund the police” is you. My colleagues and I fought for additional investments and record increases in the public safety budget.
