Yesterday was indeed a remarkable and memorable day as I had the honour of accompanying the indefatigable Chairman of our great party, Alhaji Tajudeen Olaniyi Lawal, to observe the Eid celebrations in our ancient town of Ile-Ife. The atmosphere was filled with joy, unity, and gratitude as we joined Muslim faithful in commemorating the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Thereafter, we paid a courtesy visit to the Governorship Candidate of our great party, my leader and principal, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), at his country home in Ikire, where he warmly received us and generously hosted the team. The visit further reflected his humility, hospitality, and commitment to the people.

From Ikire, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji and I proceeded on a long journey to Ila-Orangun to celebrate the joyous season with our revered leader, elder statesman, and progressive icon, Chief Abdulkareem Adebisi Akande. It was truly a rewarding experience to share such a significant moment with these distinguished leaders, whose sacrifices and leadership continue to inspire many of us within the progressive family.

Overall, it was a beautiful and fulfilling experience for the entire team and me. As we continue to celebrate this sacred season, I pray that the blessings, peace, love, and prosperity that accompany Eid al-Adha abide with the good people of Osun State and Nigeria at large.
