#novelaesthetic for my #NaNoWriMo2019 wip, Shrine, a YA fantasy novel about a young servant in a temple who makes a desperate wish and unintentionally creates an angel.
@CharleyDaveler These are good ideas! Maybe I will try some analogue tracking to mix things up a little. And a new deadline and goal very much like nano might help me push through. I really want to keep the momentum and get to a full draft!
So i won #NaNoWriMo2019 \o/ for the first time!! But....my novel is only 2/3 done. Any tips for keeping up motivation to finish the draft post nano? #amwriting#WritingCommunity
So I've realized that the 2nd half of my outline is much weaker than the first half, especially the last act. It's less developed and it's also CHEESY as hell. I'm at 42k-do I switch to pantser mode & hope my brain will supply more nuance as I go? Help!! #amwriting#nanowrimo2019
The room and hallway were both empty of furniture, as if no one had lived here for a long, long time. Amir slid down to lean against the wall and gestured for Plum to join him. They leaned against one another in the dark, drafty room, and soon exhaustion overtook them. #thurds

@Megan__Cutler It’s so hard! The whole middle has been fits and starts - and then the characters all keep trying to mess with me :) - but I just keep plugging away!
Just passed the 30k mark on my #nanowrimo2019! I have to admit the last 3k have been so very hard. I hit a big transition/crisis point & introduced a new character, & suddenly every sentence felt hard-earned. I'm hoping I've turned a corner & it will get easier again? #amwriting
The further away they got, the further he wanted to go. It was so dark that for once he really had lost his bearings. But he was sure at least that the temple lay behind him, and that was what mattered. #1linewed
@mirajeffreys Ah, this sounds familiar! Homeschooling as well, with many a writing interruption to shift lesson plan gears for my 12yo. But it’s so worth it!
So yesterday I made it to a major plot turning point in my #NaNoWriMo - and then woke up at 5am this morning thinking about All the Plot Holes that were apparently just lurking around that corner. Boo.

#nanowrimo2019 ?: do you share your nano wips w/ cheerleaders/critique partners? I know too much concrit could get in the way of writing all-the-words, but in the past when I was doing camp nano, I always found someone from my cabin to trade drafts w, & it felt quite valuable.
