Because the FG is also involved in our inquest- NAFDAC @NafdacAgency is also asking these questions because GMOs are not safe! This was my opening submission to the Press yesterday at the event. Be Specific; the President's wife is doing organic backyard farming, shows that the President most likely is not interested in GMO. We will know this very soon.

However, @DavidHundeyin plants are vascular in nature, and they uptake the heavy chemicals used to support GMO crops. Glyphosate is an active ingredient in these herbicides and it is a major cause of cancer around the world.

Atrazine is also another killer in these chemicals. Known for sterilizing and feminizing males, suppressing the development of Testosterones and stimulates the production of Progesterone and Estrogen. Atrazine is a known cause of Breast and cervical cancer, and Nigeria's ban on it is to take effect Jan 2025.

These chemicals seep into the waters, poisons and kills our biodiversity. You cannot practice mixed cropping on GMO farms, and the weeds because resistant eventually to these chemicals, so each planting season, the dose of chemicals used increases.

The most dangerous thing about GMOs is the fact that you lose your Food Sovereignty to the seed sellers because you always have to buy seeds from them. According to the Seed Variety Act 2021, you can be jailed up to 10-15 years if you collect seeds from others and not buy from them. Also, you cannot replant GMO Seeds. They are Sterile.

You should know Monsanto (Bill Gates Company) is in Nigeria as Monsanto Agriculture Nig. Limited, and they are here to colonize our food systems. Don't take anything I've said until you do your own study. This is neo-colonization and we need to reject it actively!

Last word: All the places that has been attacked by bandits, kidnappers, etc are FARMS and Seed Farmers. Mangu Village is the largest Maize Market in Nigeria. Over 430,000 metric ton of organic maize got destroyed during the Plateau crisis early this year. Kajuru Village in Southern Kaduna is a major farming district where hundreds of farmers are being kidnapped. This is setting the stage for the introduction of GMO crops from the over 200,000 hectares farm in Nigeria, where no bandit visits.
