I have 3 projects I consider 'Active'. I bounce between:
Debriz - A Gameboy Homebrew Shooter/RPG
RWBY: Huntress of Vale - A 2D Beat em Up based on web series RWBY
Synthetic Onslaught - An RTS/RPG hybrid
Oh wow! People found some early animation tests I did for Gameoverse over 10 years ago. I think I totally used the same shot of Fold pulling his arms back to attack Kit in the modern pilot (0:10). Also the Kaboodle voice here is me doing scratch audio.
Just a heads up, I've been working on some fan stuff for Gameoverse I can't wait to show off!
I really like the premise, creators, art style, and of course the Monty Oum inspirations!🙏
I'm excited to see this get greenlit!
@Starthedeity Exactly, even since the early days most of these games have systems of deminshing returns with exp.
The higher level you are, the less exp you gain, & the time sunk to level up exponentially increases.
Most players progress in the story, as the exp rate gain drops.
I really don't like art reposters
Something about farming numbers and growing your account with someone else's content feels parasitic
And not that many people will check the credits
Is quote retweeting so hard? Boost the artist's account's algo please.
@RepugnantBounty I had some luck animating melee attacks by duplicating the 'impact' frames and last frame while making sure the state's animation loop is off on state change. Hopefully that helps 🙏
We employ over 80 artists to carefully work on every single part of the animation and creative process.
You will never get the nuance, complexity and beauty of a Ghibli film without the human hand and their love.
We will never use AI to replace art in our works.
This anime was... a bit hard to follow for me, but maybe my brain was just not up to snuff anymore 🤷♂️
Still beautiful art direction and animation, and this absolute banger of an OP kept me coming back for quite a bit, though I admit I never finished it.

In regards to all the drama around indie animation.
I've said it once, and I'll say it again, fandoms are always ruined by a handful of people who contribute nothing more than drama for clout.
The sad truth is the majority all engage with it, empowering those bad actors...
You're not helping by 'defending' because every reply & QT feeds the algo and pushes that post to more timelines and the post snowballs from there.
YOU ARE HELPING THEM.
Social media is fueled by engagement. If you genuinely want to bury a shit take then simply ignore it.
If you're an aspiring creator, be Discord pals with like 5 people you know you gel with. Do it. The BEST advice I can give you. Online discourse can be draining faced alone, but when you screenshot that bad boy and an oomf puts a fried emoji react, it instantly loses all power
@paledoptera I think the biggest problem with art right now is some people want art made specifically for them & their tastes. Any art that doesn't fit that perfectly is trash & deserves to be hated.
It goes beyond genuinely critiquing the art & becomes not accepting it's not for you.
