@sazavarcec @DemocracyTalk Indeed, it's a terrific resource Saul! And Tom is a very supportive friend and colleague. We will probably organize an event about Venezuela later in the year. Tom, Saul is a great friend and a very inspiring activist and community leader. Hope you can meet soon.

An amazing resource, which makes you realize there are outstanding researchers all over the world!
Great new podcast from @BertelsmannFdn @HumanityAction - I’ve added this to the list of podcasts on the Democratic Decay Resource (DEM-DEC) - https://t.co/cp0gMgSE6K

It really was an honour to be nominated + was a highly useful exercise to map more systematically just how rapidly the Democratic Decay Resource (DEM-DEC) has become a fixture for researchers focused on #democraticdecay worldwide
AND how DEM-DEC fits into my wider research plans
Just heard last night that I didn't win the Dan David Prize (https://t.co/gIf92O9KPq).
‘Defending Democracy' prize was split btw/ Michael Ignatieff (CEU) + Reporters Without Borders. Congrats to both.
Thanks to @pip_nicholson for the nomination + everyone who wished me success.
So great to see the Feb. Research Update on the Democratic Decay Resource (DEM-DEC) already used today in the excellent @NEDemocracy@demdigest
- now that’s impact!

Glad you like it @BardPetra! Yes, this arose from discussions about potential male-heavy rosters of experts and in the Research Updates. I’m very alive to the issue and I’m a big fan of the excellent @womenalsoknow database
You got to love the @DemDecResource. Not only is it an excellent resource to help public lawyers better understand democratic decay, but they have a section on "Women also know stuff". @JuditBayer@LinaVosyliute@LigetiK@nbitiukova and many others!
👉 Our sincere thanks to @Verfassungsblog for agreeing to have the monthly summary posted on both blogs. You can check it out here: https://t.co/tqkOoQms1v
👉 After much discussion (mainly about my concerns re self-dealing!) we've decided to start posting, from January, the summary of the monthly Democratic Decay Resource (DEM-DEC) Research Update on the @iacl_aidc Blog - until now it has been posted exclusively on @Verfassungsblog
