Over 100 students have attended our workshops in Monash University Malaysia this week. It’s been fantastic to raise dementia awareness amongst pharmacy & medical students. We hope this is just the start...
We spent the week raising dementia awareness amongst pharmacy and medical students at @MonashMalaysia .
Busted a bunch of myths and started the students down the path of seeing patients as more than just their diagnosis. @DemDetectives

Please do not blame everything on #dementia just because a person has a diagnosis. People are still people still feel pain, sadness, grief and loneliness. Be curious and find out why then they may feel happiness, joy and enjoy life. There's always a reason.
Fantastic & so important! Often young people we work with for @DemDetectives think that people with dementia don't really use twitter - research evidence of this would be really helpful! https://t.co/VBzUxKJyWP
