@Cas6760@KIN110UofR I find that the air quality affects how I feel during and after outdoor physical activity. For example, I find it harder to run outdoors when the air quality is poor because I find it harder to breathe. Afterwards my lungs tend to feel overworked.

@Cas6760@KIN110UofR I have had several coaches use poor language in games and practices that consisted of them insulting their athletes. I believe that the competitive aspect of sport unfortunately tends to make these actions easier to ignore than if a teacher were to insult a student.
@casinhawkins @KIN110UofR Body image definitely plays a large role in young athletes mental health. I used to be a gymnast when I was younger and I tended to have a bigger, more muscular build than the other gymnasts. This lead to me comparing myself to others and feeling like I was not good enough.

@KIN110UofR Youth sport should be all about having fun, learning new skills during the critical period, and making friendships. However, I find that many parents, coaches, etc. put a lot of pressure on children to win and be the best which can create stress and negativity amongst children.

@KIN110UofR In my opinion, a sport is an activity requiring rules and skill. There is competitive sport, which is more so for the purpose of competing against others. There is also recreational sport which has less organization and is usually targeted for participation and having fun.
