Today is rather special indeed, as it also marks the birthday of my wife’s one and only beloved; I speak, of course, of the rather infamous Garrick H. Carne. He’s a spritly fourteen. He asks if you all might be so kind as to send gifts and mutton, in lieu of charitable donations.
Mere words cannot begin, to tell you how I feel. We’ve had our ups and downs, I know. But when we’re apart, I get an empty feeling in my heart. We’ve stood the test of time. We’ve walked the narrow road. And at the end of the day, it is you I want to hold.
I must say that I have never had my portrait painted. Even though Ross has insisted on commissioning one to be done many times, I have always refused. But this is truly beautiful ma’am! Ross will be delighted when I show this evening. Thank you kindly!

What a stunning portrait of Ross and myself! I must congratulate you ma’am, on such fine work. Tis the best painting I have seen in many a day. https://t.co/hjV68Pvmlz
Here's my #Poldark hand painted watercolour. I was inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites, because #Demelza is a redhead and Aidan played Rossetti before. My main inspiration was the painting "Writing on the Sand". #MammothFanArt@mammothscreen
Greetings from Nampara house!
We extended to you our complements of the season! May your festivities be merry and filled with the warmth from the hearth.
From and Ross and I, Merry Christmas!
We have returned from London just in time for Christmas. The children are so delighted to be home again. And Ross is glad to have some time away from the halls of Westminster.
Yes. Ross and I are still away in London. Caroline and I shall be returning to Cornwall shortly, as the children will be needing me. Ross is remaining a while longer, as he is needed at Westminster. https://t.co/mBmQ58NOVW
It has been such a delight to have Verity visit us at Nampara. Her son, Andrew, loved spending time with his cousins. While Ross and Captain Blamy throughly enjoyed their chess games and talk of politics in France. I hope it shall not be long before they return again.
Truly, Ross, I do believe you should expect Mr. Warleggans kind invitation to sample his fine port. It is time to finally mend fences. https://t.co/3h8AFYEszb
@WarlegganGeorge With that said, as I seem to be quite tardy in receiving your kind invitation, I must default to hoping it is reissued in the near future.
