Without an ounce of hesitation or remorse or ceremony, I am blocking every last individual who messages or tweets me anything of an ugly nature about Elizabeth. It is callous, painful, and unnecessary. Please stop.
@WarlegganGeorge @IamPippaRoo Well, yours, naturally. Of course I have the utmost gratitude for Pippa’s boundless kindness, despite feeling perhaps unworthy of such thoughtfulness-- but I could easily say that your almost-praises are much more difficult to earn.
Today is rather special indeed, as it also marks the birthday of my wife’s one and only beloved; I speak, of course, of the rather infamous Garrick H. Carne. He’s a spritly fourteen. He asks if you all might be so kind as to send gifts and mutton, in lieu of charitable donations.
When someone casually remarks, "My goodness, I do feel as though I haven't seen you in ages," I always find that, "Yes, I know; we're really not all that good of friends!" is always quite a gratifying response.
@poldarkedfangrl @Demelza_Pdark My twitter truancy is attributable largely to having spent utterly all of my free moments, absorbed in dialogue with my fair daughter; attempting to explain to her that I’m in reality paid a salary to go to London as often as I do, and not actually a ‘celery’ as she once thought.
Do let me know if he's ever in need of employment, ma'am; I would assuredly enjoy having him about to give George a spot of angia pectoris. https://t.co/Hrk5MlCQqi
@WarlegganGeorge With that said, as I seem to be quite tardy in receiving your kind invitation, I must default to hoping it is reissued in the near future.
I recall a time when my man Jud attempted to elude that I fathered Jinny Carter's child, too. Let them bother you not, George. Idle gossip. https://t.co/s6ojjs2n45
I sometimes wonder what you all intend with comments like this (I have just picked one at random). What do you expect me to do? https://t.co/f4g3n3Cz6u
@WarlegganGeorge @CathyCpignata Seems rather wasteful. It could be useful at Trenwith, George. Perhaps Tom Harry could benefit from having an intellectual peer about.
