How Did a Constable Accused of Raping a Minor (POCSO) Get His Posting Back?

A 10th class Muslim girl lost her marksheet. A constable offered to help. Instead, he called her to his room, allegedly drugged her, raped her and filmed it. He then threatened to leak the video.

The girl did not stay silent. In July 2023, she filed a POCSO case against constable Vishal Bharti. Sent to jail.

What happened next? He spent just over 6 months in jail. Then he got bail and was given his posting back at Mau Police Line.

The trial is still going on in Sessions Court.

Then came the plot. To weaken the case, Vishal allegedly paid Sakeena Khatoon to file a fake rape case against the victim (10th class) girl's father, who works in Mumbai.

This was a cross case, to pressure the family.

Police checked call records and bank details. They found links between Constable Vishal, Sakeena, Nisar and Zoya. ( Sakeena, Zoya, Nisar helped Constable in filing cross FIR via Fake Rape Case against that Muslim minor victim's father).

All four confessed and were arrested.

Now the big questions:

👉 Is a POCSO case this weak? Or is the system weak?

👉 How does an accused in a minor's rape case get bail in 6 months?

👉 Why was he given duty again while trial is on?

👉 How many victims' families face such pressure but stay silent?
