@AmmoniteInk I had this one teen a couple of years ago. My family was giving full candy bars cause no one comes. We finally get a group and we were so happy. I told the guy grab as much as you want with one hand. He asked if I was sure. Yes! He takes his one hand and somehow grabs almost all.

Question was Why do we create art?

I thought about this question a lot. Here is my take: Humans are intelligent. Because humans are intelligent they get bored. Because they get bored they make things in different and interesting ways to amuse themselves.

People want to see and experience beauty differently, because humans get bored easily and want something more to do, see, think about, and make. The computer stops at what it's programed to do. It doesn't get bored and make things independently.

@AmmoniteInk @jillyfoo Well I am just throwing the store names out there. I have had good luck with them this summer. I have spoken with the owner of the Source and he would take in prose from local authors and Boneshakers is all about selling books featuring queer characters. It would be a good fit.

I would be kinda nice to just finish off DE and move on to a new story that can be put out there more.

Have been working on things... just very slowly. Was kinda sad that Tapas shut DE down but I'm looking into other things.

I feel like I can't stretch DE out that much farther in promotion because it gets shut down.

@AmmoniteInk @jillyfoo Aww. Now I know. Question: Are you going to return to the con scene again? If not... Have you considered selling your books at The Source or Boneshakers Books? (The con artist alley has gotten so competitive even I have been looking into alternatives.)
