Keith Sully's new layout Bristol Avon Bridge is instantly recognisable as a miniature reproduction of Bristol Temple Meads. Keith has brilliantly captured the atmosphere of the prototype location in the late 1970s #TMRGUK #modelrailway

Today’s trackwork image - concrete sleepers. These were individually laid using C&L plastic sleepers and Peco pandrol clips. The sleepers have been painted using Plastikote suede, and the rails have been painted using railmatch frame dirt #emgauge #track @DemuShowcase

Laura McWilliam’s 37686 is mostly a respray and weathering job. Evergreen ribbed plasticard was used to convert the bodyshell. Painting was followed by a medium amount of weathering, building up the layers, some by hand, others with the airbrush. #tmrguk #class37

Mick Bryan’s graffiti on his @accurascale PCAs is applied freehand, copied from that applied to the prototype, using acrylics. Weathering powder from the DCCconcepts range is used to add texture, topped off with a touch more airbrushing and a thin coat of matt lacquer to seal

The ex ironstones on the BIS sand traffic from Oakamoor to St Helens are some of Dave Millward’s earliest railway memories. Every hopper was different. Inflicting this neglect and decay on his rolling stock as seen in the photo was Dave’s modelling goal, using various techniques

The base model for Nick Lee’s SJA conversion was an EWS liveried Bachmann MEA. The body work conversion was undertaken using the excellent Stenson Models SJA conversion parts. The model was finished with an all over coat of MRP super clear matt lacquer varnish #tmrguk

I've put the layout up on its legs for the first time in ages and thought I'd have a look at a few recent projects on the layout. Some pallets added to the depot too and I've done a spot of wiring this lot in. Enjoy your Friday evening #TMRGUK
