Messing about in EM gauge and building Bisley Junction which is kind of influenced by St Erth with a bit of China Clay.
Although TBH anything goes stock wise ;
Defiance joins the fleet 😀
Nosejob and full #Shawplan treatment; conversion to EM; along with replacement grilles from a Lima Body. My first full respray (well 3rd as thats how many attempts I did!). I'm quite pleased with how it's ended up. I do like a #Hornby#Class50.
@morval_oo Motors cost pennies... especially the cheap rubbish in quite a few popular brands. You'd have to tool up different bogies/chassis to allow free rolling so it won't be cheaper (less demand for unpowered)
We would like to wish all of our customers and followers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
2025 has been another busy year for Cavalex and we would like to thank everyone that has supported us over the past year.

At the recent AGM, Peter Hill took the prize in the Scratchbuilt and Kitbuilt Motive Power category for this model of Barclay Tank No 18. A great example of modelling. Full details on our website https://t.co/mouxjWKu9g
I guess it counts as modelling. Backscenes and front fascia fitted to the station board to match the bridge boards done a week or so ago. #TMRGUK#EMgauge

#WhatsOnTheWorkbench - so here's a workbench round up of projects I'm currently pushing through the paintshop.
Class 901 is getting its etched windows, the 73s are ready for their stripes, and lower greys and 3417 is ripe for lining and transfers. #VariousMultipleUnits#TMRGUK
#WhatsOnTheWorkbench - paintshop week for 3417, 73130, 73212, 73125, 73114, & 901001. Having got over a cold this week, I hope to have the lot done by the end of next week. Given there are no NSE stripes, I'm hopeful this'll go fairly smoothly 😂 #VariousMultipleUnits#TMRGUK
Always a pleasure to be invited by @DCRailOfficial and @CappaghGroup to visit the prototype - we had a great day comparing our model of 028 with the real thing.
Our thanks to UKRL at Leicester, DCRail and Danny Sladdin for hosting us yesterday.
