The magistrate reserved her judgment for over a month and postponed it twice. I hardly call that a "rush job".

No but context is important and a magistrate who has to deal with very serious cases and then get a case that might sound stupid like this one could lead to a rush job. An example would the magistrate proclaims I wanted to cancel someone when the post was actually the complete opposite. It was mocking cancel culture. That is a fundamental misunderstanding in my view.

@RenaldoGouws You misunderstand the concept. You elected to bring an ex parte application. This requires you to make disclosure of all facts, not just those that help you. The magistrate found that you failed to do so.

@RenaldoGouws I don't think we won so much as you lost. You lost because you went to court with unclean hands and you withheld important information from the court.

The law is consistent and clear on this. The interim order would not have been granted had you not done so.
