White men are evil unless they’re gay. Black voices matter unless they’re conservative. Open borders are wonderful until the migrants show up in your neighborhood. Guns are dangerous, but only in the hands of private citizens. Capitalism is evil, but don’t you dare forget the Pride logo on the products you’re selling.

They hate slavery but vote for the party that fought to preserve it. They insist there are endless genders until they need hormones designed for one of the two sexes. They hate America but refuse to leave it. They say Black people can’t be racist, and if Candace Owens, Thomas Sowell, or Larry Elder disagrees with them, suddenly they’re white supremacists.

Ban guns for the children. Keep abortion for the same children.

None of it has to make sense. You just have to repeat it and never ask questions.

But let me tell you what actually whips up fears of Islam.

9/11. The London bombings. Madrid. Mumbai. Bali. Death for apostasy. Death for blasphemy. Death for adultery. Death for homosexuality. Gender discrimination. Child marriage. Beheadings. Imprisonment for being raped.

The murder of Theo van Gogh. Death threats. Sharia patrols. Polygamous marriages.

This is what causes fear of Islam. It is not me.

We'll be told this is just the extreme fringe of Islam.

Well, look at Saudi Arabia the birthplace of Islam and custodian of its holy sites.
People are executed for blasphemy and apostasy.

But apparently, that's the extreme fringe?

Calling Saudi Arabia the extreme fringe of Islam is like calling the Vatican the extreme fringe of Catholicism. Sorry, it just doesn't work.

Then we're told violent Muslims have misunderstood Islam.

Saudi Arabia has misunderstood. Iran has misunderstood. Yemen has misunderstood.
Has there ever been a more spectacularly misunderstood religion than Islam?

I'm constantly told that I need to respect Islam. But I'm under no greater obligation to respect Islam than any other belief.

I am under no obligation to make compromises with an ideology I simply don't see as peaceful.

Why don't I see it as peaceful? Because of the evidence.

If I look around the world and see the countries where Islam calls the shots, all I see is brutality and violence imposed by the state.

And in 1860 ABRAHAM LINCOLN was elected President of the United States of America 🇺🇸.
He was elected for two exceptional terms (he was assassinated in beginning of the second term.) He was one of the most respected and impactful Presidents in the history of the United States 🇺🇸.

It's important to tell this story of perseverance because we see the hero, but we don't see the backstage of the afflictions. "

That’s why the push beyond Earth, not only to fix what’s broken, but to reach for something big enough to expand the scope of human consciousness.

Earth is the cradle, but we were never meant to stay in it forever.
