Out of 21 handlers from across the UK. Here are the top 10 final scores from the 62nd National Police Dog Trials.
Massive congratulations to all those who qualified, competed, judged, took part, and helped organise the event.
We are incredibly proud of our very own PD Eva, she has been crowned 2024 National Police Dog Champion 🏆 (on her birthday!) The competition was tough and all the dog teams did their forces credit. She is a very special dog ❤️🥇🐾🦴
@ASPoliceDogs Outstanding achievement. Nick is first handler to win National Police Dog Trials on three occasions with 3 different dog partners.
Avon and Somerset now hold jointly with Metropolitan Police the most successful number of winners 7!!! Quite an achievement again. Well done 🐾🐾

PD Ash has retired from service. The National Police Dog Champion 2019 has been a tremendous loyal servant with numerous deployments in bringing offenders to justice and helping vulnerable people. He has adjusted wonderfully to living indoors with his handler and family. Legend.
@theDonMCorleone@CollegeofPolice Lack of understanding at grass routes level of what role is. Very disappointing to hear I just hope she took some lessons from her extensive experience of front line policing 👍

Such sad news this morning, retired Dog Unit Sgt Cameron Shanks who unveiled our memorial has passed away.
Cammy had a long hard battle with Cancer but never let it dull his spirit. He was an inspiration to a lot of people. Thinking of his wife Claire & all the family 💙
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Retired Sgt "Cammy" Shanks, Central Scotland Police & Scottish Police College.
A true legend of the police dog world & an absolute champion of police dog trials.
May we pass on our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.
It was a pleasure seeing @WMPDogs at this years dog trials.
Also fantastic to CC Craig Guildford attending to cheer on his officers. CC Guildford is a massive supporter of police dogs and the dog trials.
Very humbled that A&S Police Dogs have chosen to name the Most Improved Dog Team award the McCoy Presentation Plate!!! Congratulations to Emma and PD Chase on being the first recipients of award 🐕❤️🐾
