@izontknowher For example, it's very clear that the Cats & Dogs expansion is a lesser expansion than The Sims 3 Pets. The Sims 3 Island Paradise beats The Sims 4 Island Living by a long shot in terms of content. The Sims 4 Horse Ranch is a joke.
@izontknowher I completely agree with you. With the exception of TS4 Get to Work, the expansions that came after always gave me the feeling that they didn't add as much content to the game as in previous generations. This has been even more intense with the latest expansions released.
@izontknowher The game was never cancelled. People just started assuming it was because Grant left Maxis, as if the departure of a mere employee was capable of ending a game of this magnitude, and which has been in development since 2019/2020. ๐คญ
@TheHenfordHen @izontknowher They won't drop TS4 immediately because they want to keep the profit margin high while the new game gains recognition from the public. As time goes on and The Sims 4 shows signs of losing relevance, the game will be phased out, leaving only Project Rene.
@TheHenfordHen @izontknowher Lyndsay Pearson explicitly stated that Project Rene is a next-generation The Sims game, so essentially, the game is The Sims 5. However, as many have speculated, EA will be dropping the numbering from the gameโs title. It will be a fully live service game.
@TheHenfordHen SimGuruFrost left, and didn't even say goodbye. People in the community don't even know who the current Global Community Manager is, there is no interaction! Everything we know about the franchise is only coming from the official accounts. Intimate interaction is dead.
@TheHenfordHen SimGurus' social media engagement has always been important. We could feel the warmth and interaction. That's gone! We don't even have a Global Community Manager who interacts with the community since Frost left. Is that acceptable to you? @TheHenfordHen
@TheSims Sims 4 is broken. Full of bugs. Expansions that look like GamePacks. SimGurus have disappeared, and the few that remain barely tweet or say anything relevant. Project Rene is unknown. When will the community get their act together and start a boycott?
@BrokePetty@hiemmanicole The Sims 3's movement animations are really bad. They're inferior even to The Sims 2. But The Sims 4's animations are very smooth. This is something the game can glorify, as it has made a very important improvement compared to previous games.
@rupaulavenenosa@hiemmanicole I'm sorry to say, but the animations in The Sims 4 are extremely smooth and natural. In this video, just by watching Zoi's little steps from the chair to the bed, you can tell that the game's strong point isn't its animations.
@Tashiaprofile@TheSimYin The Sims 4 was released 10 years ago, and at the time of its release, it was already considered a very lightweight game. Today, 10 years later, there are still many players who still play the game on low/medium settings and with laptop mode enabled. That says a lot. ๐
@Tashiaprofile@TheSimYin This will be very difficult to happen given that the game has very restrictive system requirements, and the audience for simulation games is mostly casual players with simple computers.
@TheSimYin I don't think they're worried, but I don't think they're keeping their eyes closed either. inZOI looks "full", but it's just an inflated game full of shallow features (I'm specifically referring to the life mode).
@Amazing_ParaBoy@TheSimYin Because this survey will definitely be used in the future, and it won't be long until early testing of Paralives begins. Furthermore, every company does competitive analysis, a basic marketing issue.
