@jakeAls A question towards both of you. You are talking about how good card selection would be in a boggles deck, why don't you use cards like elven farsighted to prep your deck and put a creature card into your hand (for edict or just to slim out your deck)
@nerdtothecore there was even a language barrier, me being a German native speaker in an Italian tournament. People were even so kind to explain complex playpatterns to me during games. Such a great experience. ( i made it day two with Bogles, which was adding as well to the great experience :)
@nerdtothecore I found the pauper community to be amazingly welcoming. Last year I entered paupergeddon Pisa as a total newbie. I had never played a tournament before (not even online) and everyone was so kind an sweet.
@ecobaronen Happy to see your success! We are discussing the value engine between one drops vs impulse draw quite a bit on the mono red discord server. https://t.co/fzIiQuWbRK
@_stompy@jakeAls@helimateus This is such a great observation. I mainly play in paper, have like 7ish decks lying around and only the time and capacity to update them once in a while. I’ll try to play the ones that are fun right now to me. So, for me it’s hard to get the mastery of a grinder.
@okpasquale
Even 2024 this is so true. I still recommend this once or twice a year as a starting point into ux and the importance of motion. I would love to hear more from you in this regards
@AlessandroVast9 I played last time against die gentleman on the most left. Unfortunately I forgot his name but he was the most kind person to play against. Give him a hug when you see him :)
