@PPistone I think its because theres almost no practice and qualifying so theres no buildup to the weekend. Than theres the inconsistant starting times. F1 does horizontal programming which really works.
#F1 It will be harder to generate enough electricity, but thats not what F1 should be about anyway. Increasing the ICE power and increasing the regen under braking would be the next step to gain back the electric power.
Why #F1 should ban super clipping: When hearing about how these PU's work I wanted to create a graph showing how much power the engine has when it runs out of battery and super clipping is applied: Basically it keeps just 150 KW to the wheels which my road car even exceeds.
#F1 Banning super clipping would at least give the driver the full ICE power entering the faster corners giving some resemblance of the F1 dna. Harvesting energy should only be done when brakes are applied.
