⚠️ A Mexico-registered #Learjet 55 (XA-UCI), operating as an air ambulance under the callsign MEDIVAC MED SERVICE 056 (MTS56), crashed near Roosevelt Mall in #Philadelphia shortly after departing Northeast Philadelphia Airport (KPNE) around 6 PM EST. Dashcam footage shows the aircraft impacted the ground at a nearly vertical angle, with its last transponder signal indicating a descent rate of over 11,000 feet per minute. The crash occurred near a residential neighbourhood, resulting in multiple fires and reports of over a dozen casualties. The flight was en route to #Springfield, #Missouri, with a pediatric patient onboard.
