This evening I received H.E. Dmitry Maksimychev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Kenya. Our extensive discussions delved on Kenya-Russia bilateral relations and key global issues, particularly the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Kenya continues to call for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict so as to prevent further humanitarian suffering on both sides.

We underscored the huge potential for expanding cooperation between the two nations across various areas.
