Just a quiet senior boy in a kennel, waiting to be seen.💔🥺
He deserves so much better than this.🙏
Senior dogs like Luke are the most overlooked, but anyone who has loved a senior knows the truth - they are calm, loyal, grateful, and they love with their whole heart. They don't need much, just a soft bed and someone to finally choose them.🤍

🚨 Attention dog lovers 🚨
Major is a Belgian Malinois service dog.
He has spent more than 545 days alone in an isolation kennel at the Austin Animal Center.
No walks.
No pets.
No people.
Now the city wants to put him down.
Here's what happened:
* March 2025, a pickup truck hit Major.
* He was hurt and in pain, and a woman who stopped to help tried to lift him into a car.
* He bit her.
* A municipal judge ordered him euthanized as a danger to the public.
* His human, Shane Lilly, has fought it through the Texas Supreme Court ever since.
Now a federal judge has put the euthanasia on hold and is expected to decide within days whether an independent trainer can evaluate Major for rehabilitation.
More than 54,000 people have signed the petition to free him.
An injured dog snapped while a stranger was moving him.
After a year and a half in solitary, Austin's answer is a needle?
Want to help?
Here's who to reach out to:
Austin Animal Services: 512-974-2000
Mayor Kirk Watson's office: 512-978-2100
Ask them to agree to an independent evaluation and release Major to a qualified trainer.
Please share this and let's get as many people as possible to help this pup!!
Lost respect for Dave Campbells, just an average Joe trying to keep up with high school football and now I have to pay a subscription to have multiple favorite teams, that’s ridiculous! #moneyhungry@Matt_Stepp817@Tepper@dctf
@BallKnowerTX@Matt_Stepp817@Tepper@dctf I subscribe & recommend Big Country Preps they not only do great coverage of TXHSFB they cover boys & girls athletics basketball track/field baseball softball volleyball tennis etc, & Big Country Blitz has great FB coverage-stats etc for the Big Country Region of TX.
Did your ex shoot a white-tail out of season? Keep a stringer full of fish over the limit? Hunt doves over bait? Don’t text them, text Tip411. Their friendly neighborhood Texas Game Warden will pay them a visit, with a pink “love letter” in hand.
Did you know, those little bees you see in the evening sitting on flowers are old bees.
Old & sick bees don't return to the hive at the end of their day.
They spend the night on flowers, and if they have the chance to see another sunrise, they resume their activity by bringing pollen or nectar to the colony.
They do this sensing that the end is near.
No bee waits to die in the hive so as not to burden the others.
So, next time you see an old little bee sat upon a flower as the night closes in...
...thank the little bee for her life long service.
This is Buddy. He came from a rough past and still gets a bit anxious sometimes. But a gentle hug and some reassuring words from his new dad calm him right down. Healing together, one cuddle at a time. Pls don’t scroll with leaving him a big ❤️
