I don't think Americas defeat in Vietnam or Afghanistan against guerrillas made them irrelevant.

And I feel we would be getting help from so many other countries. In reality it would likely start a world war. NATO countries would be arming us. China and Russia might even arm us lol who knows

The American public wasn't very happy about it I doubt the majority would be racing to join the invasion of Canada, I could see crippling riots happening in the states if u guys invaded Canada. 2.4 mil gun owners here

Not massive by any means but specialised and trained to fight a gurrila war in dense northern forests. The military would explode in numbers if we were invaded.
