The NYPD showed their kids how they keep the city safe. I’m glad they still have this. I remember when I used to go to work with my parents.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
The NYPD had a few little helpers in the office today. All these amazing children got to see what their parents do every day to keep millions of New Yorkers safe.
Safe to say, “Bring Your Child to Work Day” was a success!
I think crime is up in the city. Many NewYorkers don’t feel safe. People keep stealing and stores need to keep everything locked up. It’s a pain to go buy things cause you have to wait for them to unlock it.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
With crime numbers trending in the right direction, the NYPD remains focused on driving down crime and improving overall public safety in our city.
New York City is the safest big city in America, but New Yorkers must feel safe, too. Improving perception begins with a criminal justice system that is focused on justice for victims.
Thank you to @LlamasNBC for this very important discussion.
I think that it is good that there are more cops on the trains. People want to feel safe when they ride the trains. I think that there should be a strong police presence all the time, especially off hours.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
Great opportunity today to engage with subway riders firsthand and gain valuable insights into their experiences and needs. The NYPD’s commitment to improving their subway experience remains steadfast!
You just always need to be aware of your surroundings. I feel this is a good thing to protect the people. I ride the trains all the time and I feel safe.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
With the actions we’re taking today, we’re sending a message to anyone who is feeling anxious when they walk through those turnstiles:
We will stop at nothing to keep you safe and restore your peace of mind.
There is a huge difference between both of them . Trump definitely shows a greater presence. The people look really happy to meet Trump.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
BREAKING: Both President Joe Biden and former President Trump have recently arrived at the southern border in Texas.
They are visiting the region to address the ongoing migrant crisis and highlight immigration issues, as tens of thousands of people continue to cross the border each day.
President Biden is currently speaking in Brownsville, Texas, while Trump is with Governor Greg Abbott in Eagle Pass, Texas.
It's worth noting that Brownsville and Eagle Pass are located around 300 miles apart from each other.
Can you see the differce between the two?
I agree if immigrants can’t follow our laws then they should not be able to stay in our country. It is a rule for all citizens to follow the law. @BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
I agree that everyone should work together to keep this city safe. Thank you to the police force for doing a great job. I’m sure it’s not an easy job. @awilsonxhs@BerardiXHS#116gov
Thank you to the incredible investigators from our Detective Bureau who took a violent criminal off our streets. Our city is safer today because of their good old-fashioned police work, and they prove every day why they are the very best at what they do.
And thank you to the millions of New Yorkers who acted as our eyes and ears. Together, we will continue to keep every person we serve safe.
Every American should have the right to defend themselves. I think this is totally unfair. Trump should be allowed to speak in his closing arguments that is his right.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
I think this is crazy! The Supreme Court should not be allowed to do this. I don’t think it applies to being a President. @awilsonxhs@BerardiXHS#116gov
I’m glad they are raising minimum wage, but in my opinion it should be more money. People don’t make enough money to live in New York.@BerardiXHS@awilsonxhs#116gov
New York’s minimum wage is increasing on January 1!
If you are making minimum wage and don’t see an increase in your paycheck next year, you can file a wage complaint through @nyslabor to make sure you’re getting the wage increase you deserve.
LeBron James casually walks into the basketball arena while the National Anthem is playing and takes a seat.
Zero respect for the country that gave him the opportunity to be a basketball star.
Zero respect for the country that allowed him to become a billionaire.
Zero respect for the men and women who defend our country so he can live his life.
Shameful.

In my opinion I don’t think that this is going to work out well. A lot of people are going to be angry because they drive their cars to work. @awilsonxhs@BerardiXHS#116gov
New York City is officially becoming the first city in the country to implement congestion pricing!
It will deliver cleaner air, less gridlock, and $15 billion for safer, better transit for New Yorkers, and the @MTA board has heeded my call to lower the maximum toll rate.
