I will always cherish the opportunities I’ve had to work with the best career staff in federal service and diverse communities across the United States to help figure out solutions to some of the most challenging problems facing our country.

The National Parks remind us who we are as Americans and our shared values. If House Republicans shut down the government, the bears will still be fat. But school children and the public will miss Fat Bear Week, one of our most fun and popular events of the year.
During a shutdown, many agencies such as the National Park Service are also not permitted to update websites and social media pages.
That means the viral park service social media promotions of Fat Bear Week would halt. https://t.co/beuxDluZpP
Ain’t no party like a sea otter party! These adorable animals stay together in groups, called rafts, for protection from predators, and so they don’t accidentally float away. They’ll hang out with friends and family and dive deep to catch food.
