And y’all still cling onto hating Marathon, only because it’s the one game that managed to actually be finished. You have no idea how much resources have been wasted on the other projects.
One other thing for today, I almost never kept up with posting my UI icon work, but I threw all the icons I could remember making on a board before I left and here they are. Expansion logos, seasonal logos, factions, supers, abilities, perks, armor set bonuses...lot's o fun stuff
“choice.”
Removing physical games to push digital isn’t adding options, it’s taking them away.
Real choice is physical + digital coexisting.
We understand more people buy digital, but that doesn't change the fact that millions of people still access your games through physical means.
A quote that hit me hard while I pack up my work equipment -
“What is my purpose in this Universe”
Regardless of how it ended, I’ll forever love my Bungie family. 💚

Internet down? Fuck you
Server issues? Fuck you
Finished a game and want to sell or trade it in? Fuck you
You will own nothing
We will keep raising game prices
We will raise PS Plus prices
PlayStation - Play Has Limits, and fuck you.
Let’s sum things up recently with PlayStation
- Increased PS5 Prices
- Removed over 500 movies/TV shows from PS Store
- Still wants to Focus on live service games after a whole generation of failure with them
- Closed Bluepoint
- Stop Disc Production in Jan 2028
What a joke…
Didn't talk much about my time at Bungie publicly, but just wanted to say how much gratitude I have towards my Activities and Events QA team. I'm very grateful for everyone I worked alongside, and I'm grateful to see the positive reception and thoughts towards the content we made
I've been laid-off along side an immense amount of incredible people at @Bungie/@PlayStation... Not new to layoffs, in my 20+ yrs in the game industry, but the last 5 yrs at #Bungie/@Sony was euphoric. I had the pleasure of working with the best team I could have ever dreamed of.
It was a huge honor and privilege to spend nearly 12 years helping bring Raids and Dungeons to life. It means so much to me how many of you enjoyed the content, and built lasting bonds with people because of it.
I got laid off from Bungie yesterday :(
It was a wonderful 3 and half years and I'm proud of the animation work I got to create on Marathon. No regrets, I got some good memories there. Wonderful people to work with. It's off to a new adventure somewhere now, wherever that may be
My role at PlayStation supporting Bungie has been eliminated.
It was truly amazing getting to work with such a talented team, and I love what we created during our time 🖤
I've unfortunately been impacted. Incredibly grateful for the wonderful and talented people I had the opportunity to work with, many of whom were also affected today. 💙
I was affected by the layoffs today at Bungie.
I'm grateful that I got the opportunity to work among such talented folks, and sad that this time has come to a close.
Thank you to the players and fans that have supported us and spent your time with us. You're my favorite.
Today was my last day at Bungie, along with hundreds of others I was fortunate enough to work with. The people there are what made the job truly exceptional. If you are a team hiring, and see Bungie on a candidate’s resume, you would be so lucky to have them on your team.
Sad to say I was one of the folks affected by the layoffs today after over 3 wonderful years at Bungie. I'd like to thank my team for the amazing experience and getting to ship Marathon alongside you all!~
