“How You Love”
Another break, another shake… roll it off.
No time to escape, no time to be soft.
Keep the same faith, forge the same fire;
Inside, you will find all the ways you’re inspired.
Not knowing where to look, in spaces unknown,
Roads traveled alone, thinking of a home.
Feeling different… a curse, unless love grows,
Finding its shape, finding its size, finding its glow.
In the midst of the ride, the feelings inside
Wait for a moment to finally subside.
Move forward, climb… it’s your time to shine;
The world is in need of a beacon to rise.
You can only get stronger the longer you live,
If the challenges you seek are the ones you give.
Your body will remember how you pushed through it all…
Time will pass, and you’ll rise after the fall.
So hard to keep the spirit alive, even saying all this;
The world seems determined to diminish your kiss…
The ways you love, the soul’s innocence…
Maybe it’s wrong to think of the end from the start,
But it’s hard to believe anything means more than your heart.

Another blow, another storm—stand tall again.
No time to hide, no room for giving in.
Hold to your faith and guard the fire inside;
That’s where your strength and purpose always hide.
You search for answers down unfamiliar roads,
Carrying burdens few will ever know.
Feeling different can become your greatest gift,
When love gives every hidden part a lift.
Within the climb, the restless heart will wait,
Until its storms surrender to your faith.
Keep moving upward—now’s your time to rise;
The world still needs the light behind your eyes.
The longer that you live, the stronger you’ll become,
If you embrace the trials instead of trying to run.
Your body will remember every mountain that you faced;
Time will pass, and strength will quietly take its place.
It’s hard to guard a gentle spirit every day,
When louder voices try to wear your hope away.
Yet nothing speaks more loudly than a faithful heart;
Love was always worth the cost right from the start.
“Love’s Dream”
It’s not the wind, nor the rain, nor the wintertime snow,
Not the morning, the evening, or the nighttime street glow.
It’s not the food, nor the house, nor the spontaneous sex,
Not the money or the cars… what I’m about to describe next.
It’s the part you can’t name, the part that reflects,
The hidden flame, unable to be tamed.
The ignition inside, unseen, not man-made,
To fuel the life we want, happiness created from the start.
We label it love, as words hold this meaning.
The feeling inside doesn’t have to be fleeting.
You can’t find the formula in a book,
You can’t set the equation to look.
You can’t model its prize or trap its disguise.
It starts on the inside; you must realize.
Our journey is short-lived, moments in a blink.
Trust the heart you were given is the best, I think.
Then the love inside you calls to those who understand
Your value, your worth, coming to you on command.
Now you can see what most won’t believe:
That true love is real and not an unforeseen scheme.
It’s the feeling of love where you’ll succeed in this dream.

It’s not the wind, the rain, or winter’s falling snow.
Not morning’s light or evening’s quiet city glow.
It’s not the wealth, the home, or passion’s brief delight;
It’s something far beyond the things that meet the eye.
It’s the part no words can ever truly name,
The quiet spark beneath the everlasting flame.
The hidden ignition, untouched by human hands,
Awakening the life no earthly thing commands.
No book can teach it or explain its worth.
No formula can calculate its birth.
No mind can trap it or define its role;
It rises from the deepest places of the soul.
Our time is short—a breath, a passing stream.
Trust the heart you carry more than what is seen.
Love quietly calls the ones who understand,
Your worth, your truth, without a single demand.
Then you’ll discover what few believe is true:
The life you seek… begins inside of you.
“The Road Within”
Where will you go when your mind is consumed?
What will you do when your thoughts become fuel?
Where will you turn if there is no guide?
How will you know the road, or how to survive?
Life begins… feeling eternal, invincible in existence.
We learn, we grow, we shape our best predictions.
Life is a journey… slow, fast… then slow,
A path where the ending is impossible to know.
Hold on to yourself early; look inside.
Practice the ways that explore your mind.
Listen to your heart, to the feelings that follow.
Identify the connection… help guide God’s arrow.
It places you on the path where you’ll find glory,
At the end of life’s journey, looking back on your story.
It is the same for us all… the struggles, the challenges,
That shape our realities and build our character.
You are unique in how you gather your strength.
Don’t compare to others; it will lead to descent.
Rise above, and follow your heart’s true intent.
Let love be your guide, and your life will be blessed.

Where will you turn when your thoughts consume your mind?
What flame will you feed when your fears become alive?
Who will you trust when no clear guide appears?
What path will remain when you’re governed by your fears?
Life greets us all believing we’ll never fall,
Young hearts convinced they’ll overcome it all.
We learn, we grow, through victories and pain;
No soul can know where every road will end.
Hold tightly to the voice that lives within.
Spend time alone and let reflection begin.
Listen with courage to your quiet heart;
That’s where God’s purpose gently leaves its mark.
It leads you onward through both loss and grace,
Until one day you smile upon your place.
The trials we face, the burdens that we bear,
Become the quiet strength we’re meant to share.
No soul is built to walk another’s way.
Comparison will slowly steal your faith.
Stand tall in truth and follow love’s intent;
A life led by the heart is heaven sent.
“No One Is Ready”
Love doesn’t wait for certainty to exist.
No heart is ready for a gift like this.
The deepest call is one you’ll feel, not hear;
It asks for faith before the path is clear.
Moving through life, our body shows time,
While our mind remembers life… most of it just fine.
Points along the way will set you at a divide;
The path we choose then will reflect the ride.
Reflection, a key that unlocks the truth,
Of the roads we choose, starting from youth.
If you let the world decide where your heart lies,
Reflection becomes pain as you wear a disguise.
No one is ready, ever truly ready,
To share your journey wholly makes a heart heavy.
Yet no force on earth compares to shared love,
So take the leap of faith, knowing your love is enough.

Love isn’t waiting for the perfect day.
It quietly arrives and asks for faith.
The heart already knows before the mind;
Surrender first… and truth is what you’ll find.
Our bodies age while memory guards our years.
Each choice we make is shaped by hope or fear.
The roads we walk reveal what we pursue;
Our lives become the choices we hold true.
Reflection lights the places we ignore,
Revealing what we’ve truly been living for.
If others choose the place your heart belongs,
You’ll lose yourself while singing someone else’s song.
No soul is ever fully free from fear;
Love asks us all to let another near.
No force on earth can match two hearts as one;
Leap first in faith… your truest life’s begun.
“The Currency of Love”
You can say you’re ready, but not ready at all,
To share this journey together…a moment’s call.
No one can tell you what makes your heart sing,
To destroy the ego and let happiness in.
What is the currency of love if not seen?
The challenge it brings to believe in this dream,
Where the lasting parts of this life are unseen,
Where your heart is the sign…a lasting theme.
It seems crazy to think the currency is love,
To live a life that is whole, of all you dream of.
It’s not crazy at all to forge the same path,
As the people you see, believing it will last.
The crazy is fear…and not love at all.
You just need to evolve and move past the crawl.
In the end, you’ll know your feeling was right:
To love and not fear, knowing it was always alright.

You say you’re ready, yet your heart still waits.
Some journeys arrive in their own time and place.
No soul can tell you what brings yours to life;
Lay down your pride and let joy end the fight.
What is love’s currency if no one can see?
The faith to believe in what lives quietly.
The richest possessions this lifetime can hold
Are carried by hearts—not silver or gold.
It sounds almost foolish to measure love’s worth,
Yet nothing has greater value on earth.
The lives we admire, the stories we trust,
Were all built by those who chose love over lust.
The opposite of love has never been pain;
It’s fear that keeps hearts imprisoned in chains.
Step out of the shadows and into the light;
Love without fear… and you’ll know you were right.
“I Dream”
I dream of you still…we meet, and I feel.
In search of you still, not numbing to heal.
A love unresolved can feel like it haunts,
But love’s power is strong, bringing beautiful thoughts.
There’s no chase in the game of love’s mighty hand.
It’s chaos inside…if you choose, you can stand.
The depth is confusing, uncontrolled and fierce;
Accepting this means a life of living through fear.
God, you’re so worth it…to feel this alive,
Even if my dreams must process our divide.
To see you leave was heartbreaking…not knowing if I’d survive,
But time has shown me love will always stay by my side.
I’ll let it flow through me and carry its weight,
For people to see it’s never too late
To look within and give love a kiss,
Knowing it’s themselves they don’t want to miss.

I dream of you still; your presence feels so near.
I search through my soul, yet find you waiting here.
A love left unresolved can quietly remain,
Yet even through the ache, it flowers into grace.
Love isn’t found by chasing what has gone.
It waits within the heart, where faith keeps moving on.
Its depth can overwhelm, untamed, profound, and clear;
To welcome it is learning how to live beyond your fear.
My God, what a gift to know a love so deep.
Though dreams still cross the distance while I sleep.
Watching you leave once shattered all I knew;
Yet time revealed that love itself stayed true.
I’ll carry it with gratitude instead of grief.
Its weight has slowly turned my sorrow into peace.
May others look within before they search above,
And find the truest part of them… awakened by their love.
“A Love to Behold”
If by design you are mine, then we have time,
To discover new places, explore new faces,
Take chances to learn, make mistakes to discern.
Coming together, in the end, is my only concern.
It’s the feeling of hope which makes me courageous.
It’s my trust in God which makes me impervious.
“I don’t want you to be alone,” a vision she built upon.
Yet I feel it is she who needs me to lean on.
She didn’t know it then, God sent me to her,
Never to be alone, emotional safety, a protector.
Excitement in the tone, shared voices on the phone.
Even through texts, it’s her heart he connects.
From two different worlds we found one another,
A force so strong, a cracking sound; raging thunder.
Such an intense feeling to carry, filling the mind, body, and soul.
Living a life full of wonder, prayers to God, “a loving life to behold.”

To cross new worlds and let our two lives climb.

It’s hope that gives me courage every day.
It’s faith in God that keeps my fear at bay.
“I don’t want you to walk this life alone,”
Yet somehow I believe you need me most.
She never knew when God first crossed our ways,
He sent me there to brighten all her days.
A steady heart, protector by design,
A voice that brought her comfort through the night.
From different worlds, our lives became as one.
Like rolling thunder meeting with the sun.
A love so deep it filled my heart and soul;
I thank God daily… such a life to know.
“Emotional Strength”
Emotional strength takes time to build,
Thinking you’re ready, easy and still.
As the pressure hits, a different challenge exists,
One where you can’t hide, the way out… inside.
Every cell in your body, jumping without direction,
Chaos rising, while your mind seeks correction.
Your heart beating fast, unable to slow it down,
Not knowing how to decide on the correct path now.
Most people give up, when the pressure gets to be too much.
Most people don’t understand your body just needs time to adjust.
Practice over time will create an iron link
Between your heart and mind, and how you think.
As you get older, this will help the most
To deal with pressure and your emotional growth.
Let your process be your own, guiding practices to hone.
Don’t judge what works; we’re all built differently.
Develop this strength and the reward…fulfillment, honor, and nobility.

Emotional strength is slowly forged through time.
You think you’re ready… until the mountain climbs.
When pressure strikes, another battle starts;
The only road beyond it runs straight through the heart.
Each nerve awakens, searching for command.
Chaos erupts while reason takes its stand.
Your heartbeat pounds; your thoughts begin to race.
You cannot run—you have to hold your place.
Most people quit when pressure feels too great.
Not knowing mind and body recalibrate.
Practice forges iron linking heart and mind,
Until they move together, steady and aligned.
The years will prove this lesson more than most.
Calm under pressure is the strength you’ll trust the most.
Walk your own path; we’re all designed uniquely.
Master yourself… with honor and humility.
“Moving On 2 - What Fear Leaves Behind”
She decided not to fight for their love,
Stating she cared enough; it got too rough.
She walked away when we were young,
Lied about the reasons, and the anger which sprung.
She couldn’t look inside, still can’t confide
About the emotions she’s feeling, easier to hide.
She’s riddled with confusion, emotions buried,
Is her way of life, deception how she ferries.
He sees her for who she is, scared to commit,
To a man more wise than she anticipated.
He sees her for who she is, deception her game,
While he lives in truth, no regret, no shame.
She was always amazed at the depth of his heart,
How much he gave, his passions, his smarts.
Amazed at his emotional capacity to share,
While she built emotional walls, completely unaware,
She would lose him forever, along with his care.
Now, a new chapter to start, leaving her behind,
Opening his heart to someone new, something sublime.
Someone who will appreciate all he brings,
A life filled with joy, God, and hearts that sing!

She chose to walk away instead of standing for their love,
Saying she cared, but the road had grown too rough.
They were both so young, still learning who they’d be,
While truth became a burden she could never fully see.
She couldn’t face the feelings living deep inside.
Some wounds seem easier to bury than confide.
Confusion clouded every choice she came to make,
For hiding from the truth can feel much safer than heartbreak.
He saw beneath the armor she worked so hard to wear,
A guarded heart that longed for love, yet trembled getting there.
He lived with open hands, believing truth would set them free;
She answered fear with distance, and called it destiny.
She always saw the depth of him, his passion and his grace,
The way he gave his heart without expecting its embrace.
His mind, his love, his honesty were gifts she couldn’t measure,
While walls she built to guard herself concealed her greatest treasure.
And slowly she let slip away the man who loved her best.
Now another chapter waits beyond the closing page.
He leaves behind the sorrow, but carries all the change.
His heart is open still to the love that’s meant to be,
A life with God, a family, and joy that runs free.
“Loving Claim”
Now, more than ever, I think of you, dear.
I wish you were okay with just me, no fear.
Time goes so fast, and I can’t slow it down,
But it’s a family together that creates love’s sound.
You can lie to yourself and think it’s less important
Than the career you have and situations you’re forced in.
You avoid the truth of what I mean to you,
Even convince yourself my love is untrue.
You need me for my mind and for my love.
For me, it’s your strength and the things you think of.
Two halves of a star journeying through space,
When combined together, eternal light it would create.
God brought us together knowing we’d make mistakes,
To learn about life and create a bond that can’t break.
I’d rather be a fool to the end, my heart the guide,
Knowing it’s you I’ve loved all this time with no pride.
My prayers to you I send with haste,
To open your heart in loving ways.
Your beauty I find my eternal flame.

Now more than ever, thoughts of you remain.
Time moves too quickly, yet my heart’s unchanged.
The years pass by, but one truth still rings true:
A family’s greatest strength is built by two.
The world can pull us toward a different prize,
Convincing us that purpose lives in busier lives.
Yet every road I’ve walked still leads me here—
To love that never yielded to the passing years.
You stirred my mind as deeply as my soul.
Together we revealed a life that felt more whole.
Like two distant stars that brighten as they align,
Becoming something greater than either could alone define.
Perhaps God crossed our paths to shape us through the years,
Teaching us that love is refined through faith, not fear.
I’d rather love with honesty until my final day,
Than wonder what became of us had I walked away.
So every prayer I offer carries just one plea:
“Lord, keep her heart in peace, wherever she may be.”
And if our paths should meet again beneath Your guiding hand,
Let love return by grace… exactly as You planned.
“Gods Plan?”
I repress the anger inside me, boiling like a volcano.
I’m scared of what it can do, raised by a psycho.
I’m trying to control it and use it when I need.
Just a piece of me I carry…no need to run from me.
How was I supposed to know how to control it, emotions at 10 years old?
How was I supposed to know falling in love would cause it to show?
How was I supposed to cope when the people around me didn’t help?
When you were all I had at 20 but left me to worry about yourself?
If I saw you in a bar or out and about,
I’d walk right up to you and introduce myself now.
Even if you were new and not part of my past,
I’d still see your beauty and show you romance.
I’d take my time listening to your thoughts and let you speak.
I’d pay attention to your voice while my heart skipped a beat.
I’d make you laugh like a kid with my incredible wit,
While I thought about you naked, orgasms a part of it.
I know, I know…too graphic, I’ll admit.
So let me bring it back to where I’m not so ravenous.
I care about the woman you are and how an ex might not be the best.
So let’s leave it to chance to see if we dance and if God really has plans.

I keep my anger buried deep, a volcano held inside.
I’ve seen the damage it can do, the places fear can hide.
Raised in chaos, I learned too young what pain could make me be;
Now I carry it with purpose—there’s no need to fear me.
How could a boy of ten have known how to command that flame?
Or that his first true love would call those hidden embers by name?
How was I meant to heal when no one showed the way,
When you were all I had at twenty… then watched us drift away?
If I met you in a crowded room, not knowing who you were,
I’d still be drawn to your quiet grace before I spoke a word.
I’d listen more than I would talk, letting your stories lead,
Learning who you are today before I’d say what I believe.
I’d make you laugh until your smile erased another day,
Watching every guarded wall begin to fade away.
I’d still be captivated by the beauty that I see,
Yet even more by who you’ve grown to be.
I know my heart can run ahead; that’s always been my way.
So let me bring it back to where the deeper feelings stay.
I care about the woman you’ve become, not just who you were.
If life should give us one more dance, I’ll trust God’s hand from there.
In many ways, it is. Not surrendering love, but surrendering control over the outcome. I’ve spent years trying to understand what that love meant. Eventually I realized I couldn’t choose for someone else. All I could do was let the experience shape me into a better man and trust God with the rest.
“Maybe, One Day”
The more I try to forget, the closer I get to God. It’s not out of anger or hate that I wish to disregard, It’s the love I have for her, which serves as a reminder, Of how I am created and how she ignites my fire.
She’s so far away, and I can’t change the past, But something kept us tethered, as if a spell was cast. And while I’m awake, my heart for her is full; It’s the thought of her love and the discovery of this rule… A feeling inside me stronger than any gravitational pull.
The boy inside me, loving as a child, Sees the man in the mirror with such guile. All to be used for good or bad, Yet it’s her love I seem to seek, whether awake or in bed.
I talk to her through my writing, emptying thoughts protected in my heart. It’s as if I get a glimpse of what’s hiding, going all the way back to the start.
Understanding what this means is not something that I dread, It’s protecting her from these thoughts constantly running through my head, Letting her know it’s the love I have for her that led everything I said, Even knowing she is different now, complicated, and misread.
I want to tell her, “You are not my fight, So, if it’s anger you seek, you’ll find it on one side.” As my love for her does not come with pride, It does not come with fear, or hatred, or bother, It comes with care, humility, and all the gratitude I harbor.
It’s easy to be angry, an emotion not hard to find, And this is how I know it’s different, this is my sign. My love for her is formless; I only want to understand, to try, and be kind, loving thoughts on my mind.
Time will march on, and one day we’ll be gone, But my heart carries her with it, and maybe, one day, I’ll pass this love on.
I want to see you, to hug you, talk to you in person to feel what I speak, Because then you would know a secret not all get to see. As I relinquish all the doubts and anything associated with fear, My love for her will not leave as I whisper, “I want to make this clear…
I loved you from the moment we met and all the years in between. It was easier for you to leave me than to tell me you hated who I became. Not knowing if I would change or find my way back, I understand the path you took and blame myself for our lapse. Although you could have trusted me with the direct, honest truth, Time has passed and proved to me, I would have always chosen you. I do not regret my decisions, as my gifts are plentiful and stacked, But now is the time to apply my knowledge in entering my second act. I’m mindful of those around me and also who I am, Paying attention to how to be a better man, well aware of where I lack. I have always relied on honest feedback; But my approach has always been consideration, understanding, and tact. I don’t know my future in finding this love again, faith being my guide and treated as a friend, But my love for you is true, it’s just who I am, and I’ll be grateful for that love all the way til my end.”

The more I tried forgetting her, the closer God became.
Not through anger or regret, but gratitude through pain.
Her love awakened something words could never fully name—
A quiet fire within my soul that never burned in vain.
The boy within still loves the way he always understood;
The man I’ve grown into now has learned to use it for good.
My strength was never born from living free of pain;
It came from learning love can live, though everything has changed.
It’s easy choosing bitterness when life becomes unclear.
It’s harder choosing kindness while surrendering your fear.
That’s how I know this love was real—it never sought control;
It simply shaped a better man and strengthened my soul.
If these words should find you somewhere farther down life’s road,
I hope they bring you peace instead of one more heavy load.
You changed my life more deeply than you’ll ever understand.
I loved you then. I love you still.
Now… I finally understand.
“Yeah, babies”
I’m not mad, just upset, that you still haven’t found a way to be direct with me yet.
The world is in chaos, as it will always be,
But you were my world, the only love for me.
You kept in touch with me through the years, this whole time.
I hoped that time would help and God would show you the signs.
The roads you traveled, the places you’ve been…None of them hold my love for you within.
I’m angry you’re scared and think I use “tactics”To be with you now; “I want the whole package”, A house and kids, a life with no “maybes.”That’s the reason I asked, “Will you give me babies?”
Just the thought of you pregnant and having my child,
Made me think of you often and always made me smile.
It’s a family I crave, with you as my Queen,
No woman’s come close to my heart’s inner seam.
If you’re out there, you’ll see the man I’m destined to be,
‘Cause only God knows there’s no replacing you for me.
So my love will go wide and spread very far, Just remember, babe, we made love under the stars.

I’m not angry—only saddened we still haven’t spoken plain.
That honesty never found its voice through all these passing days.
The world has always known its share of chaos, fear, and pain,
Yet you were home to me… the one my heart would always claim.
You stayed within my life through all the passing years.
I prayed that time and God would quiet all our fears.
Wherever life has carried you, whatever roads you’ve known,
No distance ever lessened the love I’ve always shown.
I hate that you believed my heart was guided by disguise,
When all I ever wanted was a future in your eyes.
A home, a family, children laughing through the years—
That’s why I asked that question, not to awaken fears.
The thought of you becoming the mother of our child
Filled every dream I carried and always made me smile.
It wasn’t just a moment—it was everything I’d seen:
A life built side by side, with you forever my Queen.
If somewhere down the road our paths should meet once more,
You’ll find a different man than the one you knew before.
And if they never do, I’ll still be grateful from the start…
Because beneath the stars that night, you forever changed my heart.
I think we’re asking the wrong question. Instead of asking whether men fear female leadership, I’d ask whether leadership itself changes people. The more responsibility I’ve carried, the more I’ve had to learn to integrate emotion with reason because other people’s lives are affected by my decisions. At the same time, you’re trying to lead with love, care for the people around you, and create a life where others can flourish. That only increases the complexity. It requires open, honest communication and a willingness to understand experiences you’ll never fully live yourself. I’ve seen exceptional male and female leaders, and poor ones too. For me, leadership has become less about proving who’s intellectually superior and more about who can carry responsibility with wisdom, humility, and compassion.
@MattWalshBlog I used to think understanding myself would change my life. It didn’t. It gave me a map. My life changed when I started practicing what I was learning. For me, self-awareness isn’t the destination, I t’s what keeps me from repeating the same mistakes while I’m busy living.
“Your King”
Maybe I never moved past your kiss, your touch, or even your laugh.
And maybe I never forgave you for leaving me when I thought our love would last.
But when we met, God was there, in my thoughts, in my actions, and in my prayers.
He gave me this mind, this heart, and this desire to want you by my side, to admire.
It’s frustrating to me that I can’t see you when I want.
I can’t hold you or kiss you while I watch time march on.
But every time I take a step back and block you from reaching out,
it’s like God pulls me in, and it’s your hand on my face I think about.
I’m busy every day; my responsibilities are plenty.
I know it’s the same for you, and I want you to see it through.
I have this image in my head that shows up and never leaves
so annoying, it seems, feeling your touch embracing me.
I go to church to help me move on;
I ask God to understand what has been done,
to understand why He brought us together and why I’m unable to let go.
Aware we only have this one life, I’m scared I won’t get to see you grow old,
scared I’ll move on, and it won’t be you I call on, and your memory will eventually be gone.
“God, please take care of her heart. Please protect her from any harm.”
I have a hard time being kept in the dark, not knowing my part or how to be smart.
I’ll be grateful for what it was, what it is, and what the future brings.
And if you saw me now and let me in, you’d realize… “I was always meant to be your king.”

I ask God why our paths were joined, then torn apart.
Why some loves never seem to leave the heart.
We only get one life—that truth humbles me still.
I pray I never lose the love that shaped my will.
So every prayer begins the same: “Lord, watch over her.
Protect her heart wherever this life carries her.”
I’ll cherish what we had and trust what still may be,
Knowing love’s greatest gift… was who it helped me become.
“Loves Cast”
Relationships shift and change over time,
As individuals grow and interests divide.
Looking for new connections while staying with your tribe,
In the work you pursue and where fulfillment you’ll find.
A beautiful part of life is sharing our stories,
Finding people you never expected, inspired by our worries…
By our fury, our glory, the chaos we’ve created on our journey…
A pleasant surprise, connecting with someone out of the ordinary.
If all you have are your thoughts, write them down, speak them aloud.
Nothing can fix what surrounds you now.
Find the people who make you feel proud…
All the pieces that make you feel whole, and loving your neighbor somehow.
Life goes so fast…cherish the relationships that last.
While building new ones, you’ll see what you’ve amassed:
All the beauty in the differences of your past.
Just open your heart and let love be your cast.

Relationships change as the seasons unfold;
People grow differently, pursuing dreams of their own.
Some paths divide while others intertwine,
Leading us toward the places we’re destined to find.
One of life’s greatest gifts is sharing our stories,
Meeting unexpected souls through triumphs and worries.
Our failures, our victories, the battles we’ve survived—
Often become the very reason new friendships arrive.
If all you have are your thoughts, don’t leave them confined.
Write them, speak them, let your heart be defined.
Surround yourself with those who bring out your best,
For love and belonging are where the soul finds rest.
Life moves too quickly to leave gratitude behind.
Cherish the hearts that endure the test of time.
Welcome the ones still waiting somewhere along your path,
For love grows deeper when different lives are brought together at last.
Humility became real for me when I understood that recognizing my flaws wasn’t the same as changing them. I can understand myself deeply and still let pride, fear, or old habits shape how I respond. The work is in catching that sooner, becoming less defensive, and making a different choice. The more I grow, the more I realize humility isn’t something we achieve it’s something we can choose to practice every day.
“Humility”
Humility, at times, so hard to comprehend,
To understand the benefits, this is not to descend.
It can lift you up and break the barriers,
Holding you back from the true soul that carries us.
Humility opens the mind to endless possibilities,
To connect with people, to create mental stability.
It offers the chance to change your stance,
To help you grow, to help you advance.
The humility in your actions,
The humility in your thoughts,
The humility to strive for better ways than you were taught.
It is pride we must subside and not use as a guide,
This lesson you will learn early in life, or in time.
Pride can be good in small doses,
When having a sense of accomplishment, when fighting for your purpose.
Staying humble just allows you access to more of your hearts desires,
It forces you to not build the walls, it will help you to inspire.
As you get older, the harder it will be,
To understand all the satisfaction of humility.
So practice this trait as often as you can,
And watch how you will grow all the way to the end.

Humility, at times, is hard to comprehend,
Yet its quiet strength will lift, not descend.
It breaks the barriers that keep us confined,
Revealing the soul, expanding the mind.
It opens the door to endless possibility,
To deeper connection, to inner stability.
It changes your stance, reshapes how you grow,
Advancing your spirit in ways you may not know.
In your actions, your thoughts, let humility stay,
Guiding you gently to seek better ways.
It tempers ambition with wisdom and grace,
A virtue no pride can ever replace.
For pride misleads when it governs the heart,
Though in small measures, it plays its part.
A spark of accomplishment, a purpose to fight,
But unchecked it blinds, obscuring the light.
Stay humble, and doors will quietly unfold,
A path of desires more precious than gold.
It tears down the walls, it inspires the soul,
It shapes your journey, it makes the self whole.
With years it grows harder, this truth to see,
Yet in humility lies life’s mastery.
So practice it often, let it guide till the end—
For humility, always, is your truest friend.
