I have stopped reading the Zondo Commission of Inquiry into state capture. It has become a boring repetition of the same theme but by different actors. If the NPA have been unable to bring Zuma to book, how are they going to handle all the crooks mentioned in evidence to Zondo?

The doctors at Charlotte Maxete Academic hospital can't perform operations. No medical supplies available. If this is now, how will it be under the NHI? How does a state hospital run out of medical supplies?

In the Bill of Rights ( Chapter 2 on the SA Constitution) the rights of children are spelt out in detail. But there is nothing on the rights of parents. Or must we rely on the Elderly Citizens Act for that. This act gives us the right to sue our children!

I was just wondering how the ConCourt ruling on corporal punishment is going to be policed. And how our already overworked courts are going to cope with the additional cases.

@TomEatonSA Yes I am sure and I don't hit kids for fun. But look at our schools where learners can no longer be punished. They have become festoons of crime. No respect to teachers. Teachers regularly assaulted, even killed. Drugs freely available. Thanks for your comment, but no thanks.

The ConCourt judgement on corporal punishment will come back to haunt the ConCourt, like the banning of corporal punishment in schools have done. It is sending the wrong message about respect and obedience. It also infringes on parents rights.

I am not a Steve Hofmeyr fan. But I believe that sponsors are treating him in contravention of the Bill of Rights and discriminating against him. Its OK for Malema and the BLF to make racist remarks and threats. But it is not OK for Hofmeyr to use his freedom of speech right.

Ace Magashule and those who think like him should go and read their history again. The white arrived in this country at about the same time as the Black population migration from central and west Africa. They are also migrants here.
