@catkinson80 Part of this is caused by fact you can only make appointments for ‘today’ - not for days ahead if not urgent. Creates havoc when phone lines go live.

@RhonddaBryant@kevinarowan Good news on that. 👏👏
Even better news would be to ensure:
No government contracts for party donors
No party donations from government contractors.

Summary of week from @catkinson80
Think it’s is good move to say what our MPs have been up to? Know it’s a PR move but provides information.
Are other #Derbyshire constituency MPs doing the same?
Did this party’s candidates in #Derby#Derbyshire turn up to hustings? Or be contactable by constituents? Or exist?
It appears to have been an issue in certain areas of the country.
First day in my new job!
Thank you so much for all the messages of congratulations.
It will take a bit of time to get my office, emails, team set up. So please do bear with us.
I’m really looking forward to getting on with the job and speaking up for High Peak in Parliament.
@PeteMcKee I’ll take your Greater Manchester and your South Yorkshire and I’ll raise you…Derbyshire
Before general election - 9 Tory MPs and 2 Labour MPs
After general election - 0 Tory MPs and 11 Labour MPs
Reduce health issues (physical and mental), obesity, loneliness, youth behavioural problems. Use top sportspeople as role models. Schools everywhere have facilities that could be utilised.
Sure Keir Starmer will be getting lots of advice but what’s the one thing you’d suggest?
Mine would be to massively encourage sport/fitness.
Huge benefits for us all, whatever our ages. Whatever our backgrounds.
#Derby#Derbyshire#DerbyNorth@catkinson80
So many wins….
Thanks you!! Looks a good facility. Thanks for sharing. #Derby#Derbyshire. Will be good to look more at local issues and how local government can work for the good of us all too :) Joined up product reuse / repair would be good.
@krishgm Absolutely. I was lucky that Labour was my tactical vote anyway so I got to vote with my heart, but priority was to vote for the most likely candidate to keep the tories out in your area. We all knew that would bring a Labour government. The vote share isn't the whole story.
It seems to me that the portrayal of the Labour win as shallow because of the vote share is misleading. This was a ‘get the tories out’ election. For different people that generally meant voting Labour, Lib Dem, Green or Reform. But in doing so they all knew they’d get a Labour government and did it deliberately. In reality even Reform voters actually voted for Keir Starmer to be PM.
Where is that please @brexcyclopaedia ? Would be ideal to have #Derby#Derbyshire community revive next to #refuse and #recycling centres. Ideally a repair shop too!
Huge thanks to everyone who voted for me. It was so lovely to get such a great result.
I am very conscious however that despite the BIG increase in the majority many people have lost faith in politics altogether and we have a big job to rebuild that now.
It's the honour of my life to be elected to serve the people of Bolsover.
Thank you to all those who put their faith in me; I won’t let you down.
The change starts now🌹
