Vote YES YES not just for the pay rise you deserve this year, but for the tens of thousands of pounds you have lost in real terms since 2010.
Back the ballot for a #betterdealforteachers so we can start the process of restoring teachers pay.
As public sector workers face yet another pay cut - the biggest yet for teachers - its worth watching @PatrickR_NASUWT's powerful speech last week to the @DurhamGala

I understand that members @NASUWT conference voted unanimously for our UPS motion to be referred to National Exec because Derby delegates were unable to get there to propose it due to a fire on the train track this morning. Many thanks to everyone for their support.
Looks like we might not get to conference today due to fire on the track. Devastated we will miss our opportunity to put our motion to @NASUWT conference!
@NASUWT currently watching progress at Conference via Twitter while stuck on the train from Derby due to a fire on the track! Hope we make it in time to speak on the Derby motion on UPS!
Action is needed to improve the current market for supply teachers, which is nothing short of a national scandal.
It is also staggering that the Government believes supply agencies offer the solution to current teacher supply shortages when they are a key part of the problem.
If further restrictions are now being introduced elsewhere in society in the face of #OmicronVariant further control measures should also be introduced to schools & colleges #planb#Omicron

We are continuing to campaign to #stopfireandrehire which is being used in some schools to threaten teachers with dismissal if they refuse to accept changes to their contracts which would mean worse pay, pensions & rights. #endfireandrehire#FireAndRehire
At #DTCC21@PatrickR_NASUWT launched our campaign for #LongCovid to be recognised as a disability under the Equality Act 2010. He said: "No teacher experiencing #LongCovid should be forced to live in fear because they have contracted this debilitating illness."
