@DougAMacgregor Trump IS America first Colonel.
For better or worse, he's taken it upon himself to decide what "America" is. He is a dictionary burner.
Thanks for your posts, even upside down in OZ they make compelling viewing.
(Upside down, everything pistol hot to touch, hairdryer breeze)
@AnnieJacobsen Yes, good point me.
I've kind of reached peak empathy for the horrors of the world, become more of a perpetual re-calibrator. Accepting the current situation as the one step back - after making two forward ones. To vibe Paula Abdul.
That's not a very American surname, "Abdul".
@C__Herridge Prediction, with hindsight.
It's been on for decades, and made new once someone thinks of a new name. Once it was called "The Long Tail of Marketing". Media et al is a product, like cereal, so you can have just one box for sale, and everyone sees it at eye level; the best shelf.
@australian Their oppression is a tactic in a strategy to condition the innocent into mindless compliance. It works. Something similar pays off with treating all customers as shop-lifters. Vogon behaviour, and a rationalization for getting off on being rude. Resistance is useless.
@UltraDane In Australia, if the water in public pools is anything but emerald green a "code brown" code is whispered over the PA, and everyone showers off in a hurry. At home.
@AnnieJacobsen What scares me most is wondering the number of flights it takes to read ten books.
I'd never land (*with in-air top ups, and enough snacks).
@skscartoon Rinse and repeat.
Children need to be taught accounting fundamentals, so that they get a sense for when their inheritance is at risk. Adults would receive instructions at breakfast, to ensure no parent confusion, and that all is in place. No surprises.
@UltraDane Magnificent creature.
I like buzzards, on a different level.
A doctor recently told me that a buzzard has ethics, and will only eat if the meal is freshly dead, so it will wait patiently or come back later - rather than eat you alive.
It's thought Putin is going to do to Alaska what the US likes doing. Experience gifting regret, and take it back - now that things have developed since his Munich offer in 2007. Since then, he's rinsed and repeated the same sentiment.
