You know what isn't priced in?
Literally everything changing in the next 10 years.
You may be tired of AI, but it's just getting started.
Billions of skilled digital workers just got airdropped in every country around the world, and they’re willing to work for a fraction of the cost of humans.
They might not have jobs right now, but they’re starting to apply.
Remember what happened to midwesterners when their jobs were shipped overseas to cheaper Chinese laborers?
Imagine that for knowledge workers everywhere.
The higher the salary, the juicier the target.
Doctors. Lawyers. Programmers. Accountants.
All in the crosshairs.
The economic system as we know it will need a complete overhaul to adjust to this reality.
You might think I'm insane.
But expecting a garden-variety recession, a bond rally, and a new business cycle seems like insanity from my POV.
We're living through something much bigger.
Monetary System: #Bitcoin, Worldcoin, X app, BRICS currency, CBDCs...
Do you think it's a coincidence that they're all popping up at the same time?
These are all a reaction to the death of our current monetary system.
Money is power, and these are attempts at filling the ultimate power vacuum.
The writing is on the wall for US Treasuries as the base layer of the global economy.
Many of the largest creditors would rather cut their losses than fund exploding deficits during the next crisis.
Saudi Arabia sees more value in buying aging sports stars than US treasuries.
Photos of Cristiano shilling Saudi Arabia are now more valuable than US paper.
The ones who fail to see this are the ones that have spent the most time benefitting from the existing paradigm. Some are simply blinded by patriotism.
They will be least likely to escape the loss of value in government paper, which now relies solely on fading trust in corrupt institutions.
Meanwhile, China and Russia are playing the old power games.
They want to go back to shiny metal 🪙
But the rise of the Internet and AI is a paradigm shift that transcends borders and requires trustless money that moves at the speed of light.
The coming economic shifts will change everything.
The Snowden leaks happened 10 years ago.
How much trust has been lost in institutions since then?
Now think 10 years ahead, throw in exponential advancements in AI, and a failing monetary system.
Much of that world is impossible to predict with any degree of confidence.
But here's the good news: There's a chance humanity threads the needle and creates an incredible world of abundance.
There's a chance we'll look back on many of the BS jobs of today and think: Gosh, how many lives were wasted fiddling with spreadsheets and powerpoint slides!
What a shame people stared at screens all day instead of creating families!
Thank God we got rid of of the failing inflationary monetary system and no longer need to toil away at meaningless jobs.
Maybe we've been living through the dark ages and we didn't even know it.

The end of cash is near.
They are trying to go all digital, and then bring in the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) to be programable so they can control how you spend your money.
Eventually they will be able to make your CBDC money expire or disallow certain products.
This is an absolutely incredible video.
Hinton: “That's an issue, right. We have to think hard about how to control that.“
Reporter: “Can we?“
Hinton: “We don't know. We haven't been there yet. But we can try!“
Reporter: “That seems kind of concerning?“
Hinton: “Uh, yes!“
@JasonPLowery I tuned out of anything MK had to say after his moronic ‘fuck Elon’ display., behaving like a WWE wrestler on his stage. Embarrassing clown.
The intellectual Swiss Army knife of twitter, @Noahpinion, reviews three new books on the US-China tech war by @jacobhelberg, @paul_scharre & @HillmanJE.
A terrific read for anyone interested in the geopolitics or the tech (the two are now inextricable)
