Congratulations Brent on your new position as Deputy Chief of Fredericton Fire. Thank you for always being so supportive of my photography and for taking the time to chat whenever our paths crossed. Wishing you all the best in this exciting new chapter!
After over thirty years in the fire service, I can honestly say I still don't sleep well the night before a shift. But one thing remains constant: my gear is ready, my mind is sharp, and my purpose hasn't wavered.
Always be prepared both mentally and physically.
Earlier today, our crews responded to a lithium-ion e-bike battery fire on Eglinton Ave. West that caused severe damage to the unit and building. These fires burn hot and fast, putting individuals and firefighters at risk. #Toronto

Busy day for @Toronto_Fire crews across the city. We responded to multiple natural gas leaks, fires, and emergency incidents today. Thank you to our crews, @TorontoMedics & @TorontoPolice who responded. Your dedication & commitment to keeping #Toronto safe does not go unnoticed.
Thank you to all of the numerous agencies that responded last night to assist us. There was an incident in the gorge before the Tent City fire, as well as a working house fire going on the same time as this one.
