this organization could not have less social awareness or give a damn. sold everything out, from the neighborhood, to the rooftops, to the goddamn jersey while we sit in last place & the president of baseball ops craps his pants at 9 figure deals. embarrassing. burn it down
Mike Tauchman (Palatine) is the first #Cubs player born in the Chicagoland area to hit 2 homers in a game at Wrigley Field since Phil Cavarretta (Chicago) August 30, 1936 (Game 2 of doubleheader)
Im calling on fremd HS to do the right thing & induct this man into their HOF. I shouldnt even have to say that. line up a parade down NW highway blasting swag surfin rolling thru mid suburban league country. thats just the right thing to do & every mid suburban leaguer gets that
#Cubs fans, it is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you we have lost the greatest @Cubs fan of all time, Dorthy Farrell. You saw her for years sitting in her seats behind the visitors dugout. She got a lot of attention when during the Cubs postseason run in 2016….
Some don't know of a very good decision the Cubs made when adding video boards to historic Wrigley Field: the score was kept off the video boards intentionally, so the eye is still regularly drawn to the Old Scoreboard in center, where the score is kept at Wrigley Field.
