🔴 The destruction of an IDP camp

On 18 November, the Myanmar Air Force (MAF) allegedly carried out four airstrikes using two jet fighters on Bangkok Internally Displaced Person (IDP) Camp in Laei village on the west side of Phekone township, Shan-Karenni (Kayah) border.

As a result of the airstrikes, one person was reportedly killed, another injured, and several IDP buildings destroyed.

Myanmar Witness geolocated the damaged infrastructure and the coordinates that point to the building can be accessed by request to [email protected].
