Our last minute game with Florida State on ESPNU during the day had triple the ratings of our highest viewed night game. Certainly part of that is the matchup but still.

@robbholl @JeremyKawika VMI-Army is on CBSSN and Temple Tulane is on ESPNU right now too.... That's gotta be better than ESPN2 at 1 am on the east coast, right? We were averaging about 500,000 viewers for our late games after the BYU game.

@TyGlander @mybrainissmart This reminds me of BYU fans shredding Tanner Mangum months before he opened up about struggling with anxiety and depression. Maybe BH is just standing up for his players. How do we know Ryp wasn't struggling too when fans tore him apart each week?

@JeffCaves I would argue the relief is because of the respect we have for the MWC. We are just grateful to escape. Before that respect we felt frustration after wins like this. The fans that don't respect other MWC teams feel frustrated and are the ones (inexplicably) calling for firings.

@not_asian_asian @BroncoSportsFB If you don't like close wins and embarrassing losses I don't think the other 129 teams in the FBS will have much to offer you either. Alabama fans felt like they got embarrassed yesterday and many are calling for Saban to be fired. It's all relative when you get used to success.

@Ed_O_68bsu @chaddcripe Absolutely. I'd listen until 3am if I had to. The point is ESPN is supposed to get us exposure. I don't think it's doing that for anyone east of Boise. Not sure it's worth the dollars to play in the dead of night. Also wonder how it affects our performance and recruiting.

@Ed_O_68bsu @chaddcripe I live on the east coast and I can promise you everyone is in bed or clubbing by 8PM mountain. All my friends and co-workers think I am crazy for staying up until 2am to finish a game, and most never see the highlights either. It's an issue.

@LoneSausages @chaddcripe Not sure highest late kick ratings is worth it if half the country is asleep when you're playing and not watching your results. Almost better to be Temple playing 4-5 games a year on ESPN2 at 3PM with highlights rolling all day vs. 10-2AM eastern every week.

@citronauts @AndrewFeraci @Totalfutbol19 @PaulJKBOI Actually drove down to Orlando from Philly for a week in late July of this year (8 hours would get you past Charlotte, NC from Orlando). Weather was nice. We enjoyed our stay! Looking forward to visiting again in 2021.

@BSUbluNorange I have become one with late kicks, but I also have come to understand nobody on the east coast watches west coast football because if the time. Huge disadvantage for the MWC and Pac 12.
