@StormRiderSK@mooman108O@myJuneishere@KitsuneroVT The fuck are you talking about? The 2019 Academy Award for Best Picture went to Parasite - a completely foreign South Korean film made by a South Korean production company and distributed by a South Korean distribution company.
@jwally123456@mooman108O@KitsuneroVT lmao and who drew that "line"? You?
The "line" is that the person is using a virtual avatar to stream instead of their real face/identity. That's blatantly what Peanut is doing. There are no other objective prerequisites for being considered a VTuber
@RockRolled@Aurondarklord@Grummz Why would anyone want ANYONE shot up in front lines combat, if we're using that logic? And why would ANYONE expect women to NOT be in a new BF title when they've been in every BF title released in the past fucking decade?
@StvnAd@_Tom_Henderson_ You can literally look up reviews for the game from 2005 where reviewers say it's no surprise BF2 didn't have a campaign because neither did the previous two BF titles. IGN and Gamespot didn't mention a campaign once in their reviews.
@StvnAd@_Tom_Henderson_ lol no there was not. Outside of niche outlier forums like Gamespot/Gamefaq, there was no major outlet where you were going to see DROVES of people complaining about BF2 online in fuckin 2005. No BF game before it had a campaign - there was no expectation for BF2 to have one.
@StvnAd@_Tom_Henderson_ Also, you keep saying "shitty" in regard to the campaigns in specific BF games, but there has yet to be a BF campaign that received widespread high praise and overall positive critical acclaim. They pretty much all had mixed-to-poor reception and were called "not the focus of BF"
@StvnAd@_Tom_Henderson_ You seem to be under the impression that the PC version of BF2 was called "Battlefield 2: Modern Combat", when it wasn't. It was just called "Battlefield 2". BF2: Modern Combat is a console-only game that originally only released for PS2 and Xbox. They are not the same game.
@StvnAd@_Tom_Henderson_ Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a console exclusive game that got a campaign. It was originally titled "Battlefield: Modern Combat" and was set to release before BF2, the 2 was added to boost sales by feigning a connection to BF2. It has nothing in common w/ the PC version of BF2
@StvnAd@_Tom_Henderson_ This is such an odd comment. Not only was it 2042 that was the only BF title in 15+ years without a campaign (meaning there's no way they were "pressured into releasing some nonsense with each one since"), but there were NO mainline BF games that had a campaign before Bad Company
@vKatze_77@EndersFPS It's especially funny that "adapting" is what's being told to critics of "aggressive" movement, when the BF fans criticizing those things have more than likely been "adapting" to them as they've been added to BF games over the past 10+ years while simultaneously criticizing them.
@vKatze_77@EndersFPS It's really funny that the argument here is about "adapting", when legitimately anyone can just as easily turn that around on guys like you and Enders and question why the fuck you can't or seemingly don't want to adapt to the game after the nerfs to movement.
@HijakkedQ@EndersFPS@MizlandThe You mean the incredibly slow BF2 base movement and sprint speed - sprint speed of which was held back by intentionally limited stamina? Or do you mean the movement exploits like dolphin diving, prone spam, and b-hopping, one of which was literally patched out of the game?
@EndersFPS@MizlandThe They're absolutely relevant to the "What Battlefield is" conversation when you say some horseshit like "Battlefield has ALWAYS had a movement skillgap that's essential to gameplay". The games don't just magically cease existing in order to better fit your half-assed argument.
@EndersFPS If you didn't see topics about movement come up during the beta, then you definitely weren't looking on the BF subreddit or the forums. People were talking about movement there when testing was just going on in labs - when the beta dropped it was regularly discussed from day 1.
@Uniting_ps @GamerGadfly lmfao are you really under the impression anyone at all would be convinced that the developers at DICE designed that INTENTIONALLY? Really?
@EndersFPS@cat_snot No shit, you fuckin sweaty mongoloid. It was introduced into the franchise to be a movement mechanic used to better avoid fire while moving into *immediate cover*. It shouldn't have ever been changed into a mechanic to be used in the middle of a fucking CQB gunfight.
