Game Mechanics should never be patented. This diminishes creativity and makes for worse games.

Nintendo isn't the only one doing this but they are definitely the most visible right now. The practice of patenting game mechanics should be abolished.

This impacts both personal and gifted subs. It also may end automatic renewal in some countries as it's a price change. Make sure to check your subs and see if they are still running after the change if you want to continue your streak.

This is also the second time we've seen a price increase for different regions this year. The first time was in February with Australia, Canada, Turkey, and the UK seeing increases.

I entirely understand if you do not wish to continue your sub due to this. Don't worry about it and make sure to keep your finances in mind.
