@GRABishop@StarTrek@iDuchaine@wrbjacaaprez@John_YYZ It's taken me years but I've finally developed the discipline to not click wiki links related to shows I am not up-to-date on watching. Looking at you Tony Almeida.
@GRABishop@StarTrek@iDuchaine@wrbjacaaprez@John_YYZ@smithsonian A fair assumption, and the electrically lit 11-footer was more extensively used through seasons 1 and 2, but the 33" was made first, used for the original pilot and opening credits shots, and made re-appearances in season 3 (presumably after budget cuts affecting the 11-footer).
@GRABishop@StarTrek@iDuchaine@wrbjacaaprez@John_YYZ I did explain to Isabelle the Locarno-Paris history during a brief pause of last week's episode. Should have kept the backstory - redeeming the irredeemable is what makes for good Star Trek.
@GRABishop@iDuchaine The moment they got me was when Uhura and Ortegas started fanning over Hoshi and Travis from ENT. π @iDuchaine btw we're doing a best-of-ENT rewatch sometime soon.
@SimonTSN690@jarrybarclay@FriedgeHNIC You can see the Omega logo in this photo I took. I'm curious if @FriedgeHNIC lined up to buy it in person or if he paid extra on the secondary market. Despite what the hype last year might have made it seem like, they're not limited editions, but still fun.
The organizing principle of good faith in contractual performance in Canada has been further shaped by the recent decision of the Supreme Court in
C.M. Callow Inc. v. Zollinger. Read about it in my article for the @GlaholtBowles Building Insight newsletter:
@tommydoubleu Learning about and contributing to discussions on transit projects is a great way to spend a pandemic weeknight. Earlier I thanked the project team and Steve Munro as well.
Under Ontario's second emergency order, the scope of construction work which may continue as "essential" during this time has again been modified. Check out the latest in our bulletin below:
Things I'm looking forward to in 2021: the return of NHL hockey, the wider distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, doing some writing about construction law, and the birth of my second child (not necessarily in that order).
