End of January and the experience at the @watotochurch All night sing still rings fresh in my head.....
What do you remember about the All night sing 2025?

“If your one purpose on this Earth is to be a lawyer, be that lawyer.
The person who gave you that purpose will give you the husband that aligns with the purpose you’re pursuing. And if there is no husband along the way, don’t worry about it either. You are fully human and fully woman, whether married or not.
Marriage is not a destination. It’s not an arrival lounge. We are so much more.”

Where did my money go?
That beautiful notification hits your phone: “Your account has been credited…”
For a brief moment, you feel rich. You make plans. You think, “This month, I will finally breathe.”
Then reality checks in. You look at your banking app a few days later, become a forensic accountant, and wonder where it all went.
But as you look closer, you realize:
❌ No extravagant shopping.
❌ No unnecessary splurges.
❌ No reckless weekends.
You paid rent. You bought groceries. You covered transport, utilities, data, and perhaps sent a little support back home.
You didn't waste your earnings. You simply lived.
As children, we thought adults had all the answers. As adults, we discover that everyone is just calculating, budgeting, prioritizing, and choosing between wants and needs.
Success starts taking a different shape. It becomes:
🔹 “I paid all my bills.”
🔹 “I supported my family.”
🔹 “I kept my commitments.”
🔹 “I made it through another month.”
To everyone building a future one payslip at a time: Your progress is not just measured by the balance left in your account. It is measured by the responsibilities you carry, the lives you support, and the dreams you refuse to give up on.
Adulthood is expensive, but showing up every single day is an achievement worth celebrating. Keep showing up.

Have you heard of a Special Power of Attorney (sometimes called an Enduring or Durable Power of Attorney) ?
Hmm … my client recently had a stroke. I hear he is in bad shape but I am praying hard that he recovers soon.
His things are abit complicated (you know Ugandan men 😂🙈).
I prepared his will here naye he refused to consider my other estate planning tools like a trust, advance medical directives or an enduring power of attorney. ‘Mbu bya Bazungu and that for him, he works out ’.
The directives in his will can’t kick in because he is not dead but someone needs to manage his businesses & make the loan repayments. Now is when that Enduring Power of Attorney would have been helpful!
Kyoka we have his money from the rental collections. Oba I give it to his official Madam 🤔?
I think I need to partner with an insurance company and a bank that understands these things and we help people.
N.B. The story above is fiction, but could easily be reality, si kyo? What would you do? Please don’t call me asking for your relative’s money 🙏😂🤭.
P.S. Follow me for more parables 😁.
Kampala Campus students @LDC_Uganda , this rain is for reading to allow ur heads cool down after serious reading. It is not for cuddling. Orals are next week. So let’s comb those principles and statutes !!!
In CCP orals at @LDC_Uganda, they asked me if I would say yes if my boyfriend proposed to me. I said, "No!" to avoid a problem qn because I preferred direct qns.
The panelist then said, "Suppose you said yes, and you are now in charge of the wedding cake what would you do?"😂😭💀
