Derry and Raphoe is the Church of Ireland in the North West of Ireland/Northern Ireland. The Right Rev Andrew Forster is the Bishop. He was consecrated in 2019.
Bishop Andrew has congratulated the Bishop of Raphoe, Most Reverend Alan McGuckian, on his appointment as Bishop of Down and Connor. The announcement was made earlier today by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Armagh, Most Reverend Eamon Martin.
"He has worked unstintingly to develop and improve relations between the different churches – both at home and abroad – and on a personal level, I will miss his friendship greatly.

BISHOP CONDEMNS ATTEMPTED MURDER OF POLICE OFFICER IN OMAGH
The Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, Right Reverend Andrew Forster, has condemned the attempted murder of a police officer in Omagh, on Wednesday evening, as “callous and evil”.
"There is no justification for this kind of violence in our society. The fact that this happened in close proximity to children highlights the wickedness and recklessness of the perpetrators.
