Former Presidents Bush, Clinton, Obama and Biden share their messages for America on the nation's 250th birthday.
President Trump is unsurprisingly missing.
Bush โ โOne of the things about the 250th is the fact that you can worship freely without the government telling you how to worship, speak in a public square without being jailed, a press that's willing to hold the powerful to account.โ
Clinton โ โAmerica is bigger than anybody's personal hopes and dreams. The country will survive by the freedom to speak, freedom to vote, freedom to be active in politics.โ
Obama โ โRemember what's best in us. The basic principle upon which this country was founded which is we don't have rulers, kings, monarchs, aristocracies-- we have citizens.โ
Biden โ โ250th anniversary of the country reminds people that democracies depend on certain basic rules. Democracy is dictated by the rule of the Constitution.โ
Mamdani: "As we mark 250 years, what do we see? ... we see the wealthiest country in the history of the world -- one where children go to sleep hungry while the world's first trillionaire hungers for more ... we see masked agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans"
Go fuck yourself, you feeble-minded shitheel. America doesnโt need patriotism lessons from a convicted felon & adjudicated rapist who incited an attack on the Capitol, tried to steal an election & dreams of being a dictator for life. Fuck all the way off.
Thank you Disney networks and ABC for telling the real stories of America that celebrate our diversity, ingenuity, and perseverance, but also acknowledged that there were groups of people not treated as equals and with respect and denied the same rights as white people.
WABJ member @rachelvscott got a first look at the UFC ring on the White House South Lawn.
The fight is scheduled for this Sunday, which falls on President Trumpโs birthday.
