This incident was recorded by another passenger and reported to the railway police. The authorities took immediate action. The police told the passenger who recorded the video not to post or share it on social media. However, the victim’s mother specifically requested that this incident be shared.
No matter what women wear—burqa, saree, or skirt—they are not safe anywhere.
Women should be especially cautious while traveling.

JUST IN | A school van carrying students was attacked with stones allegedly by a group of men part of Kanwar Yatra in the Chowk Police Station limits in Lucknow on Monday. Locals alleged the attack occurred as majority students in the van were from minority community.

Lucknow Police said necessary legal action is being taken. “Upon receiving the information, the Chowk police station immediately arrived at the scene. No children were reported injured in the incident. Based on CCTV footage and other evidence, the individuals involved have been identified and necessary legal action is being taken as per the law,” reads a police statement.

Nearly 24 hours have passed since the brutal assault on cab drivers Azher Khan and Mohammed Ahmed near Capital Park, Madhapur, yet the four accused named in FIR No. 1143/2026 registered at Madhapur Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate are reportedly still at large.

As per the FIR, the accused—Rakesh, Varun, Sai Teja and Shiva Maheshwar—allegedly wrongfully restrained and assaulted the two cab drivers, with Azher Khan suffering a bleeding injury to his left eye after being struck with a mobile phone.

The victim has alleged that despite his injuries, he was not escorted to a hospital and was instead asked to go to the police station. He has also complained that he continues to be called to the police station while the accused have not yet been arrested.

Why the delay in arresting the named accused.? Prompt and impartial action is essential to maintain public confidence in law enforcement and ensure the safety of thousands of cab drivers working across Hyderabad.

I urge @CPCyberabad to immediately arrest all four accused and ensure justice is delivered without further delay.
