I knew very little about these events before watching Satluj. Learning about what happened was eye - opening, heartbreaking, and left a lasting impression.

[Ruby @DesiRu_]

Finally watched Satluj and @diljitdosanjh delivered a superb performance. The movie itself was a powerful reminder that truth isn’t always what we’re first led to believe. It makes you question narratives, think critically, and remember that behind every headline are real people.

The movie was a beautifully crafted thought-provoking film. The courage and resilience shown by Jaswant and his family in standing by the truth, despite everything they endured, was deeply moving.

Satluj (formerly Punjab 95) is no.1 movie in Europe on Zee5..
Looking forward to watching tonight ♥️

@diljitdosanjh @ZEE5India So happy this film has finally been released after such a long wait. ❤️ However would’ve been better if it was a released in cinemas or been made available on an OTT platform with a wider reach, because a story like this deserves the biggest audience possible.

@diljitdosanjh Wow 🤩 👏🏼

[Ruby @DesiRu_]

@diljitdosanjh Just listening to some of your earlier tracks -really loved HOLSTER too 🥁🔥 I hope that it might make it onto your tour setlist -or maybe even the UK shows 🇬🇧 It has such an incredible energy to it.🪘 A whole group of dhol players joining in live would be amazing.

[Ruby @DesiRu_]

@sfj_team9397 @diljitdosanjh Also, it’s being overlooked that he’s actually helping bring history to life through his work. That has value, and it shouldn’t be dismissed so easily. At the end of the day, religion is about intention and personal commitment, not public criticism. Let people live their life.

[Ruby @DesiRu_]

@sfj_team9397 @diljitdosanjh Everyone’s relationship with their faith is personal. No one follows everything perfectly, If we start questioning one person, then we’d have to question so many others too -people who wear a turban but trim their beard, or follow some things and not others. Where does that end?

[Ruby @DesiRu_]

@sfj_team9397 @diljitdosanjh I don’t really understand this… Diljit has actually done movies about the events of 1984 - films like Punjab 1984 and Jogi. Isn’t that being overlooked here?

@diljitdosanjh Your smile alone spreads so much happiness… tuhanu vi bahut pyaar ❤️
