@BPBlackMetal That is correct. At UNC Finley their team did effectively construct four new holes, but 3/4 were splices of the current routing. My takeaway: bold greens with many pin placements yield new strategic options even when the corridor is left untouched.

Had the privilege of welcoming @BPBlackMetal to NC golf yesterday @Forest_OaksCC. The par five 11th culminates in a thrilling Biarritz green - my favorite played. Thanks for carving out the time for a round BPBM!

@MsTurfMuscle The heavy rain is obviously a challenge but I am curious: are there aspects of the course’s design that make drainage more difficult? Does it have to do with old infrastructure? The architecture of the course? The clay-heavy soil base? Something else?
