@Design_HOPES@UniStrathclyde@HeriotWattUni are trialing theatre caps made from plant-based fibres in the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, in order to reduce waste in hospitals across Scotland.
Our textile scientists worked with @JubileeHospital & @UniStrathclyde to co-design sustainable operating theatre caps made from plant-based materials. Some single-use caps take 300 years to fully decompose.
